If they find problems with Junior Seau's brain, I have a feeling you are going to see liberal cries to ban the sport. It might not start in the NFL, but I wouldn't be shocked if they try to "protect the children" in high school and college. It would work its way up from there. An author/journalist, Malcolm Gladwell, is starting the cry to ban college football in New York.

The difference is that the possession of steroids was already a possible felony conviction. There wasn't anyone trying to ban the sport of baseball because of that issue.
