    How Soon Before There Are Major Cries To Ban American Football

    If they find problems with Junior Seau's brain, I have a feeling you are going to see liberal cries to ban the sport. It might not start in the NFL, but I wouldn't be shocked if they try to "protect the children" in high school and college. It would work its way up from there. An author/journalist, Malcolm Gladwell, is starting the cry to ban college football in New York.




    I say within 20 years, this is going to be an issue on the scale of what has happened to the smoking industry.

    Once they come up with the technology to save motorcycle riders heads during crashes the NFL should change their helmets to a similar model. No technology exists at this point that can do anything.

    The difference is that the possession of steroids was already a possible felony conviction. There wasn't anyone trying to ban the sport of baseball because of that issue.
