Default What is your setup like?

I'm looking to invest a little of my MLB winnins by improving the "set up" I use.

Currently, I'm using a year old PC (nothing special but get the job done), one Dell 2001fps, cable interent, a table and an plain old office chair.

I'm thinking of getting another one or two 20' montiors and a Areon (sp?) chair. Both of these will make my time in front of the PC more comfortable and more profitable. (I think my PC is fine, so notthink I need to upgrade it just yet).

I'm curious as you what type of setup everyoen here feels is best. Is a third monitor really needed? Should I get 2 30' montiors instead? Is there a mouse that is better than others for sports?

    Any input would be great.

Ok if you liked my post about me making my wife still drive the 89 Ford Escort you'll like this.

I'm still using a wooden kitchen chair. I was using the captains chair for awhile but I switched to just a regular one. I'm still too cheap to even get myself a decent chair to sit in.

Met a girl on a dating line, she said I can move in with her. I never met her but it is clicking through e-mail very nice. We exchanged photos and it looks good on both ends.

Does it take much to figure out how to set that up? I'm not a tech guy at all but it sounds awesome and I'd love to do something like that but I'm clueless.

I work off a Dell XPS Notebook (has 17" widescreen display). I needed a loaded notebook so I can have the power of a desktop. I sometimes hook up to a 18.1" SONY LCD.

I just recently bought a 46" SONY LCD (none projection), and have yet to hook up to that yet. Im sure it will look nice when I do.

When I get us into a house, currently in a apartment, I will get back to building me desktops every year or so to keep up with the new technology.

Chalkboards are a must if you take this game serious and you cannot have women around.

Most pros have ZERO women and that is the way it should be.

I learned a long time ago that you simply never lie to them and everything is fine. I lay out it out real plain and simple: I don't believe marriage as a social construct is necessary, and children are nothing but an obstacle between me and retirement at age 45. As far as gambling goes, I just say "look, some men spend tens of thousands of dollars and weeks out of every year hunting, fishing, etc. My hobby is gambling. It's no different than someone spending hours every day trading stocks. And the rate of return is higher if you do it right." If she hangs around after that, she's a keeper.

I just got a 19" lcd after years of a 15" piece of junk. Feels like I've moved out of the stone age. Compaq tower pc is about 5 years old so I'm close to upgrading that to a new lap top. Cable internet, too.

Nice setup there Dave, the plasma on the wall is nice. I think it is easier just to buy a laptop as the second screen plus it is a second computer than buying just a screen and taking up computer resources.

I like how Dave can have a visitor and appear to be looking at them but is probably watching a game or something on the TV on the wall.
