Hey Everyone!

I know there was a poll conducted on this JJ character some time ago and I have said that I find him ok. But with all this bullshit coming to the surface recently I have to admit that it actually becoming somewhat annoying that the forum is becoming filled with crap.

I am not too much of a serious bettor by all means but this JJ crap is somewhat degrading the seriousness and the reputation of this forum.

Do you guys feel the same way?

For sure...SBR is such a high class (and important!) site, the forum should have a certain niveau too.

A poster who created a 2nd (and 3rd, and maybe 4th and so on...) account, only to piss people off (and raiders did that in a very annoying style), should be banned - period.

oh and i forgot to mention:
not only did he piss people off for fun, there have been plays made for REAL MONEY, provocated by raiders.

I do know that everyone is responsible for what he plays, but do we really need to put up with this here? I say no

For me, a joke is a joke and once is funny ... but it seems there is a serial MO develioping and it is hard to trust a character when they have adopted multiple personalities over a sustained period.

The sluggers character was just rubbish.

However, jj can contribute (the 5 books thread is a good one I think) but not in multiple personna's ... I think it devalues the trust we place in each other ... as in, we dont know each other at all, only by the posts, and folk will become paranoid soon (especially with newcomers now Id reckon).

I wonder about this JJ guy. Why can't he find a regular part time job and be on internet at the same time. The guy is on the net 24/7. He rakes leaves for a living?

I really believe JJ is somehow handicap and rely on goverment assistance and kills time on the forum or try to make friends on the internet.

I have nothing against JJ, but I find this poor guy a bit disturbing.

Maybe this forum is ****ed up from the base, who knows, i do know for sure that on almost every other forum this wouldnt be possible.
I would be shocked to see this on SBR as someone who is looking for help, there is a excellent site everyone trust immediately - and the forum is filled to the top with bullshit.

Calm down jj ... its a forum, its a past time, your supposed to enjoy it. I think when it starts to mean to much to you then, yeah, I would reconsider if its good for you.

As for being annoyed with small players ... well my guess is that the small players of this world have a more balanced life. And Id say thats pretty important. Its something you may wish to reflect on ... yes, with sluggers and raiders if you wish.

I would add my voice to the people who don't go for the drama-queen stuff and dorky games. I also had a vision when this forum started of a classier place that would be focused on quality. Instead it has become like daycare for one needy, hyperactive child.

I also have spoken to some people who feel that way, that won't be speaking up in this thread because they don't use this forum - for that exact reason.

(On an aside: I also don't think SBR is doing JJ any favors by allowing him to post here. I do a lot of work in real life with people who have disorders like JJ, and you don't help them by allowing them to live in the problem.)

It's good feedback. I still wonder if we are in the minority and more people actually enjoy the nonsense but it's good feedback.

Ahmen, I do look for insights and except for Razz and a couple others its all a circus. I admit at times its amusing but its getting a little over the top. I think this site starts to loose a little credibilty when things like this goes on.

The only reason why JJ hasnt been banned is because he keeps this forum alive with posts. If this forum was a little bigger JJ would be gone in a heartbeat. I think JJ has some good reasoning in some of his posts..but most of his posts (dumb ones) I think is just to create more action in this forum.

In other words, wouldn't you end up with a bunch of members who are on the same wavelength that JJ is. For example, people will like to read/post garbage, people will create multiple aliases, people will say that they clean toilets yet they put 10G on a football game... Is this what the forum SBR wishes to become at the end? And, wouldn't that affect the credibility of SBR itselt, not only the forum?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a trustworthy initial membership however slow it may be and built it from there?

I do agree with that but traffic will eventually come from new users and new users may not have the paitence to sort through all the crap to get to the good stuff. They might just look at this site as a joke and move onto something more reliable.

It doesn't matter much if you have 10 millions hits to a forum, if it's the same freaking 20 people generating it. You would rather want 5 million hits generated by a 100000 people.

Some books are fooled by the same 20 users generating all the hits. Unless they do their homework JJGold is making money for SBR and should get a raise.

And as Muddy says: there prolly would be even more, i know 1 guy who doesnt come here because of the hyperactive JJ kid, and he knows his stuff very well.

I will also be disappointed soon, if he can go on with this stuff and its just accepted.
I hoped for this forum to be a serious place, because this is a real big money business, and i dont want to fool around with it.

Its time for you SBR guys to decide what you want - a place without rules and kids like JJ, or a solid amount of serious posters.

I would remind you oh insane person that I came on with a legitimate problem with a book and was immediately called a scammer by all your personas. Never mind that I was not aware that Cris was a large book. Never mind that I have spent up to 80 hours a week fighting business scams. Never mind I got ripped out of 18k by Cris and they have not fixxed their problem yet. In your book I was automatically a scammer and it was my fault for playing a sportsbook/horse racing combo. If you offer a service and you fail in that service then it should be the business who corrects the problem and/or offers compensation. It is a shame that these sportsbooks are not allowed in the US. One screw of the consumer and they go to court or go to jail.

I think JJGOLD brings enough value to this forum. Judging by what I've read over the last week since I started here, people here are semi-serious gamblers at best. I don't think anyone here gambles professionally. So, juvenile threads and whatnot are the norm, and that's just the nature of this forum. It's somewhat entertaining, and maybe is a reasonable way to gradually establish a more mature forum in the future. It's a growth process.

That said, JJGOLD has gone too far with the multiple accounts. It's bad enough reading a thread with two conflicting viewpoints which are hard to follow. It's worse when there's various viewpoints, many of which are JJGOLD arguing with himself under various aliases. The forum has enough people, now, that JJGOLD doesn't need to talk to himself simply to generate "pseudo" threads. It's really psychotic.

So, I'll be the first to ask JJGOLD. Please, JJGOLD, stop with all of the other aliases. We love you for who you are, JJGOLD. Just state your peace, and let it be. People will agree and/or disagree and that's the point of an open forum discussion. There's no need to have all of the multiple personalities. Just stop it, please.
