I actually like them better that looking at gambling stats. I think they are more non bias and actually tells how a team is playing, ect.
AP, Sportsicker and Sportsnetwork all have variations of them.

I read some of the previews on the games I have narrowed my picks to. Just to get more information on the games I like.
Team sites and local news sites are another good source of previews and information.

I read some of the previews myself, because they sometimes have something in there that might actually be of some value to me when i'm capping my games.
I really don't agree that much with alot of the stuff they write though, but info is info IMO.

Not really. From the media I just want to know the injuries and the coaches comments right after the previous game. And the weather.

Sometimes you'll find some important info, but you can find more in local papers and by watching the coach's press conferences and sometimes regional team reports on random FSN channels

For the 30 seconds or so it takes to read, definitely worthwhile for us "gay" foreigners. Often you can pick up on a prevailing media/public sentiment towards particular teams, and play against.
