Default Anyone seen the new fee structure at Tradesports

I was looking at tradesports in-running trade fees and they new want 10 cents per share for expiry fee if the event wins. That is up 150% from their old fee. Also the fee wet up 5 cents per share if you are not the money maker. I think that is totally ridiculous paying 15 cents per share if you end up winning. They should lose a ton of customers?

Means they are not doing well

Volume is very low there anyway except for a few tv games each week

    no need to play there

Their software is hard to use.
They need to use rotation numbers for college games

It takes too much time finding games on their site!

all exchanges like them are a flat out waste of time

Go to Pinnacle and bet and it is the same thing long term

Tradesports gave themselves a 25% pay increase, and actually advertises the rate changes as a means to increase liquidity. Sad.

They really blew it for a lot of people with their North Korean missile contracts. So they may be scrambling.

Leaving the In-running fee increase aside, Tradesports fees for pre-event is zero. There are no trading fees or expiry fees.

Therefore you can bet before the game starts at no charge to the punter.

Is that new FV? The pre-game fees were the reason I removed a large chunk of my balance there..

    Santo,

That is new as of last Thursday. No fees, commissions, or any other charges for pre-game betting

It was announced quite a while ago, and posted on their site. Personally I will lose a little on futures contracts, but overall it will mean a huge reduction in commission to me.

    That's good for me.

In my opinion, people who win should play there because you don't have to worry about these types of things at tradesports:

    A) your money being stolen.
    B) your account being closed.
    C) your limits being lowered.
    etc. etc. etc.

Bookies that pay people to shill for them on forums make me highly suspicious.

    Explain ???

... I have stated my opinion. Even if it was a lie ... how would you even know it was as you cannot know my opinion until I say it to you.

And it actually is my opinion. Shillers like you are a pain and make me suspect the calibre of the said bookie to pay people like you.

Therefore, every word of your sentence is a lie.

    And stop shilling tradebegspunters.

You are just making them look crappier and crappier.

So you mean that you write this crap about Tradesports on the forum for free? If so, you may think you're doing them a good deed but in fact you're making them look pretty shady.

I see people complaining about being cheated out of winnings, having their limits lowered, having their accounts closed because they win, etc. I'm trying to help them out.

I guess being good hearted is a crime here?

    Your sentence:
Bookies that pay people to shill for them on forums make me highly suspicious.

    Bookies - tradesports isn't a bookie, it's a trading service

that pay people to shill for them on forums - you have no proof that they pay me to shill for them (or anyone else), what you're implying is a lie

make me highly suspicious - they're not a bookie, bookies that pay people to shill on message boards may make you suspicious but they're not bookies, so what you're implying is the equivalent of a lie.

No, it isn't. But trying to promote Tradesports at every opportunity is. And they've hardly got a perfect record, have they? If you want to promote an exchange which won't cancel bets then don't promote Tradeports, because they do.
