    He is in between the net and the boards, he didnt have a whole lot of room to get out of the way at all. That is crazy talk. Plus, right before impact, Smith turns his head towards Shaw, and Shaw actually arches his shoulders up and back.

    I don't know what exactly you need to see to think Shaw hit him on purpose.

    1. Didn't make a play at the puck.
    2. Didn't move to skate into the boards to avoid contact.
    3. Didn't turn his body sideways at any point, keeping his shoulders square.

    I'm sure you've seen enough hockey to know that players do literally everything to get out of the way of the goalie. If you think Shaw did as much as he could to get out of the way you're out of your mind.

    That game like all the others was a coinflip, and now Hossa is out too. Hawks losing puck battles and are just handing Phx the point for clear shots. And with Crawford in net, 1 in 10 is going in.

    i feel sorry for anyone taking the hawks in this game
