Time to sack up fellas: 10 units on CLIFF LEE tonight

one rule i live by: when a pitcher gets an inflated contract (matt cain), bet against them for everything you have.

went all in on Halladay earlier in the week, taking a large portion of those winnings and riding CLIFF LEE for a big time score tonight boys.

big rooster play here. take out some cash from the 401k to hammer this play.

if you're not over 59 1/2 and you take money out of a 401k you get creamed in taxes/penalties.
to net $1000 you probably have to cash out $2000, so then even if you win you're only back to the original $2000.

mikey i was using that to express how confident i am in this pick.

Griz your premise might make a little sense but in this case it doesn't. Cain is getting about what the going rate for a dominant right hander, let's put that aside right now. Madison Bumgarner got a fat new contract and then went on to whoop the phillies, Matt Cain in big games is MONEY. This is a very important game against a team the giants want to make a statement against. I don't see the contract as inflated first of all and second of all he's already started since the big contract. The euphoria of the new cotract has worn off and now it's down to business. Good luck taking that philly offense who have averaged 2 runs a game the past 5 games. OTHER then lincecum the phillies keep getting dominated by the giants pitching. Good luck with this play but much better ones on the board. LAST night big play was giants, today it was atlanta...

Do a little numbers research and you'll see Lee has a distinct edge tonight.

    I believe it's 10% plus your personal tax rate/bracket. Either way.................no good.

    great

because if you are in the vast majority and don't have a ton of money, when you take it out in retirement it probably won't even be taxable unless it's like over $20k/year

i hope one of these pitchers gets rocked in the 1st inning since i have a side bet going

just the federal is 10% + your tax bracket (let's say 25%) so 35% federal
add to that wisconsin 7.75% + wisconsin penalty 3.33% so 11% wisconsin

almost 1/2, so my example isn't far off.

Current relevant Giants dont touch him. Current Giants have 2 extra base hits off of Lee combined. Phils hit Cain hard.

    Numbers vs. Cain

    Wiggington 3-9, 1 hr, 5 rbi
    Nix 8-20, 1 hr, 1 rbi
    Pence 5-15, 1 hr, 4 rbi
    Rollins 7-17, 1 hr, 3 triples, 2 doubles, 5 rbi

No one comes close to having those type of numbers against Lee. Just food for thought. I know its just 4 guys, but thats a lot of production.

Yeah but it's not like those number are eye popping, better games to push than this one IMO

At the last second I faded this play for 43 units, the guy is due for a loss he has been to hot lately.
