Would he? He has a 0.89 ERA in his last 3 starts. Not sure any team couldn't win behind those kinds of outings.

Lunchbawks is a known Ranger hater. I know this kind of thread stings, pal.

Im sure he has a lot to work on.

But he embarassed the Yanks lineup and pitchd 8.

Got into one jam, bases loaded, maybe no or 1 out, pitched out of it as well.

First time seeing him today, impressive but, he should have thrown his curve ball more. Ubaldo was just better today.

Mariners love to take pitches it seems. Can't walk as many as Darvish does and expect to win. The walks have killed him.

exactly! All of MLB is getting this message now..... that is why you see soooo many people come into the league and flame out after they get figured out and their holes exposed....

    Defense let him down tonight

Hamilton missed a fly ball in the 1st inning that led to a run

Before the Youkilis HR a double play that should have been turned was failed

giving credit where credit is due

    Darvish was good today

two straight starts with 120+ pitches

first time that has happened this year.

I know these jap pitchers are more durable though

how many starts do they make a year in japan on average?

Pitchers in Japan only pitch once per week

So he is having to adjust to that as well as the difference in the strike zone here in the states.

In Japan the strike zone is much bigger

That seems to be the theory on why he is walking so much, since he has to adapt to the new strike zone.

last two outings his control has gotten way way better

guy might be putting it together, might have been wrong and early on my judgements

does he go over 125 pitches thrown tonight?

I do continue to question crack head's use of his starting staff
