Vegas Dave's Dime: Baseball Show 4/6/09
Baseball is FINALLY here! 
I'll be doing the first installment of my new baseball show tomorrow. Will post each of this week's videos here in this thread.
The show will feature my best bets of the day (which I'll be tracking on my spreadsheet), as well as some fantasy baseball advice and a "question of the day" segment. If you have any baseball betting or fantasy baseball questions, feel free to ask here, and I'll answer them in a video if they are good ones!
Here's to wishing us all a fun and prosperous season of bases in 2009  .

Awesome video Dave, I enjoyed your football vids but the production quality was really spectacular for this one. This is going to be a daily event for me from now on. Here's a question for tomorrow's video: Tell us about the first MLB game you attended and what made you fall in love with the game from being there.

It will depend on the line and the pitcher he's facing. I'm really surprised to see a +140 going up against a non-elite pitcher. Cook is a very serviceable pitcher, but this is a complete mismatch.
Generally when Webb faces a guy he is this superior to, we see a -110 to +110 type of line on the runline. When he faces another team's elite pitcher, you get good prices on the run line but the DBack's offense becomes a factor.
Considering this offense's biggest problem is striking out and they are facing a guy with a terribly low K/9, this game seems like a perfect fit all around. Not all of Webb's starts will be so favorable.

Thank you... using adobe premiere.
Getting that anchor box to work was a little tricky, but the tech guys showed me how to do it a few weeks ago

Nothing wrong with tailing one of the games best pitchers at under -130 .
Funny, 2 guys on my fade and follow list (Fade Felix, Follow Liriano) are facing off today 
Didn't add it because SBRlines had Baker as the starter and I assumed when it was fixed the line would move, but it hasn't. Twins aren't a bad bet at all at -135. Not making an official play though to avoid confusion want to keep my vid's plays and spreadsheet the same.

Yeah, if you use my question, feel free to reference the fact that I'm gonna be out stumbling around the woods tomorrow drinking Schlitz Malt Liquor! It could be like a trademark of the show to rip on poster's drinking habits. I drink garbage beer too!

I had too many PBR's yesterday afternoon, fell asleep missed the endings of many games... and then was late to the gym and late to the Ncaa championship game, which turned out to be a blessing....
