I am pretty surprised that Overeem ever made it into the UFC though. He packed on around 80lbs of pure muscle in just a few short years. If all he did was lift weights and not train to fight that would still be damn impressive for someone that's not on the juice.

If pretty much all MMA fighters used something wouldn't you think more than 2 or 3 guys a year would be caught? They test after all fights, they do random testing sometimes. They can cycle it out, but that is what Reem has been doing this whole time....and still managed to not cycle it out when he KNEW he would be tested a few random times.

If that many guys took something more guys would be getting caught.

Am I saying no one uses? No. There are probably many who sneak by the tests. But to say all MMA fighters use is pretty dumb.

This was a random test. 6 big ass HWs were tested....1 came up dirty, a guy pretty much everyone knew roided. So how is that "all mma fighters"? 1 out of 6 big ass HWs....what is that 17% on a random test during their training camp?

You've never played sports? Most HS kids are on gear already, let's not even start talking about pros where money is involved.
HGH is easy to pass. Dana White is not stupid to ban most of his roster. He'll do it for political reasons or to punish someone or if there are contract problems, etc.

These guys have lots of injuries, need to recover quickly. PED's are more than just SIZE.

I don't believe for one second guys like Shogun, Fedor, Anderson, GSP, Machida, JDS, Roy Nelson, or Nick Diaz do any of that. Well Nick might have raging THC levels. But I doubt anyone like that take roids. I don't think Randy or Chuck Liddell ever took them.

TRT therapy is dumb. I'm a big Hendo fan, but I think it is dumb and a way around it. But the way they do it isn't illegal. They basically have a doctors note.

This isn't Pro Wrestling. Martial Artists as a whole seem to be a lot more conscious of what goes into their body.

I think everyone is being pretty pessimistic about it. Guys use PEDs, but I think you guys are going off the deep end. MLB players used because it was easy to pass and they had little to no testing. Now that they do....hardly anyone is on roids in baseball.

I do actually agree with your list of fighters for the most part. I would also like to add BJ Penn to that list. However if I had to go guess what percentage of the fighters use I would probably guess around 50%. It's probably not that much different than Football or Baseball.
