    He said TOOK OVER a Top 15 program. Clearly back in 2003 Illinois a top 15 program. 2000-2005 in 5 seasons won 4 B10 titles (and a 2nd), 4 sweet 16's or better, 13 tourney wins, 141-33 overall. Yeah, they were top 15.

    That said, still think Weber is a pretty good coach that lost his way, and could regain it. But he always sounds like he's months away from never being able to speak again.

    Just going to point this out... next year will NOT be a good year to judge Weber. K State returns basically the core of their team that had a pretty solid season.

    In 2-3 years, when Weber has recruited an entire team that has no point guard, no shooting ability outside, no skilled ball-handlers, that is when the real fun starts for Kansas State fans.

    And the worst part is Kansas State has a smaller pool of players to recruit from so I can't imagine that will help Weber's ability to recruit.

    I'm just so disgusted at what Weber did here. Bill Self's players put Illinois basketball back on the map with that 2005 season and Weber could have taken that exposure and run and built on it. Instead, he took a big steaming shit on it.

    Groce couldn't possibly do a worse job than Weber did because Weber was handed all of the momentum in the world by Self and killed it.

    You're pretty dumb. You call K State an improvement from Illinois. When Weber took over Illinois, it was actually a top 10 job based on recent history and had a ton of talent on the roster.

    Weber turned Illinois from top 10 into missing the tournament 2 of 3 years.
