Nearly one of the biggest contest chokes in SBR history, ShamsWoof10 led the way all month and managed to maintain victory on a last second 3 by New Orleans.

$143 for first place..?
That sucks but if the Pool is only 1K for baseball I would think you could make more taking an online survey..

it is amazing how many 8 point plus favs win. i tried playing nothing but dogs month of Feb. and just got killed.
I played very few big chalk favs this month, and still got scared on a few that barely won.
All it would take is that one -12 fav at -1100 or whatever and play it for 3 units and it just sets you back so far. You have to win another 34 units of chalk favs to make it back up.

Yeah I hear you I tried to play dogs in Feb. too and got killed... Dogs cover the spread but not often enough...

Nice job, Shams. Better lucky than good.
The true value of the contest is that it teaches people how simple it is to beat the NBA.
The payout should be number of points divided by total number of points of winning (and qualifying) players, x 2500.

Sham, congrats on your win.It looks like you have been in hiding honing your handicapping skills instead of mega posting about defending sportsbook.com and getting political about conspiracies and such.I miss your posts alot because you were a lone voice of reason.I got back in the good graces of sportsbook.com for correlating parlays and bonus whoring where they have been sending me comps again. Now I won't tick you off bashing them.hehe!I don't blame you for laying low. This forum has gotten way too serious from where it used to be where people don't even know you are doing tongue in cheek yanking their chain stuff just to rile things up and get some laughs or someone pissed off.
