Default Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers... huge line movements! Miami is now favored!

Las Vegas Sports Consultants now lists Miami as a -1.5 favorite and the game is off the board almost everywhere!

    http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds...06/time/2030#J

This is a huge move, the game started with Pittsburgh -5.5 now Miami is a one and a half point road favorite!

What does everyone make of this? Also, predictions on the game?

Can books cancel wagers right now the whole bad line thing like if you had Miami +5 for 10000 could they cancel that.

no sjelveh, because books hung the NFL week 1 lines way back in like june.

this is a prime example of why you don't bet those NFL week 1 lines so early.

Its Roethelisberger (or however the hell you spell it) he's sitting the game out for an emergency appendectomy. Charlie Batch will start. The higher-ups at Mansion must be dancing right now.

I was just wondering if PIT would still win the game with a late FG, and this commercial comes on for 'Pittsburgh Paint'. WTF.

When I saw the news about Rothleisberger, I thought the same thing, "Mansion must be just ecstatic". What a call they made on that one!!!!!!! I'm sure it is just good fortune on their part but, boy, that is just unbelievable.

However, I agree with Dan. No way would I bet Miami in this game now that they are favored. It will be interesting to see how the line goes from today to game time.

Miami will win this game easy

Remember Pitt gets blown out last year in the 1st round if Palmer did not get hurt

    freebie,

According to people who lost money on the game, Cincy would have blown out the Steelers 'if only'.

    You know..?

I have a question at Mansion.

If I place USD1100 on Pittsburgh Steelers Pk at Mansion.

    If Pittsburgh Steelers Pk lose.

Can I get back my money?

What is a minimum Point Spread ?

    PK?

    My English is bad.

Is there such a good thing?

What are usual scores for NFL ...

.. is it 32-30, 43-39 or do they more usually finish 34-17, 17-28, etc?

That is ... are big margins usual?

I have -4.5 and am not going to basically give away a lot of value by taking Miami at +4.5 for 1.37.

    Am I talking bollocks?

    bet g,
    Minimum point spread is 1.

No. If you bet on Pittsburg at PICK and they lose, you lose your bet.

I would NOT expect a lot of points. This should be a close game.

"Place a minimum Point Spread (Handicap) bet of USD 1,100 ..." This just means you need to bet a minimum of $1,100 on the pointspread, whatever that spread may be.

If you bet on the Pittsburgh spread at Mansion (no matter if it's PK or anything else) and your bet loses, then accoring to Mansion's promotional terms your wager will indeed be refunded.

I'm not so sure about that, John. There's nothing in Mansion's promotional T&Cs saying that wagers placed at a zero spread won't be refunded ...

You have to be kidding me. I didn't realize that there had to be a pointspread of at least one point. I just made my wager yesterday at a pickem'. Now if Pittsburgh loses, that means I don't get my money back??? Please advise.

    Ok
If I place USD1100 on Pittsburgh Steelers Pk at Mansion.

I could receive the qualification of the refund.

    Is it right?

    Just so everyone understands:

Minimum refers to "point spread bet."

Minumum does NOT refer to "point spread."

In other words, the bet must be a minimum of $1100.

The point spread is whatever it is.

After allegedly poisoning the entire Tottenham squad on the last game of the UK football season, nothing would surprise me.
