Im reading of rumors of Forte to the Pats

Does anyone have any other sources other than one guys twitter account. This is huge news and if they were able to get him for a 2nd 4th this year and 3rd next year which is what I am hearing that is amazing!

I don't see it but that doesn't mean it's beyond the realm of possibility.

First, the Pats are not heavy on the run.

Secondly Belichick likes to hoard draft picks.

Third, they spent a 2nd round pick on running back Shane Vereen and a 3rd on Stevan Ridley. Vereen was hurt last season and could be a player while Ridley showed flashes but was loose with the ball.

I don't think Forte makes sense but it makes for interesting discussion.

It wouldn't surprise me. I read how he's mad at the Bears for signing Michael Bush to a 4 year contract, but they won't work with him on an extension.

I mean it's not really a need like the Lloyd signing was but if Brady can have a top tier rb for the rest of his career that would be huge, defenses couldn't put six DB's on the field which would open up the pass game. Vareen or Ridley also could go back to the bears instead of a pick as well

Well that's where I first read it but it was first reported by some reporters twitter and on some other sites like this, that's why I want a more credible source

Pats would dominate if that happened.. Not that they dont already,...
