Question Magic VS. Heat...whats the play?

Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games.
Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings.
Magic are 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
Favorite is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

leaning Magic here...what do you all think?

Miami needs a win here, they depart for a 3 game road trip after this and are likely will have a losing close to their season with a difficult final stretch. Every game counts, dropping to a 7th or 8th seed is certain death for any team who would be required to face the Cavs/Bos/Orl in the first round.

With that said, the Heat's starting line has underperformed against the Magic this year, with the exception of Dwayne Wade. Orlando has the size advantage, and it shows in the rebounding. I think it will be really interesting to see which team comes out with more motivation. I like playing Orlando at -1 for the first half, and making a bigger wager on the halftime line based on what I see in the first half.

Is this is a trap? Orlando has won five in a row and 12 of 14. They're playing better than any team in the NBA, outside of Cleveland. Any thoughts? Even for a road favorite the number seems low.

The line is right where it should be. Miami play well at home and have beaten Orlando in this same venue. Today, I'd however go with Orlando and 1H Under 96.

I like the 1st half under. I'll probably stay away from the side.

Line dropped to -2 in a few spots. Everything about this game feels funny. Orlando certainly has an edge, but hard to quantify Wade's presence combined with home court. This game hinges upon motivation. Who wants it more?

Miami plays their best at home but Orlando is just to balanced. Everybody in their starting five is capable of getting double digit pts. Orlando should win.

Keep in mind zo's jersey is being retired at halftime. Except a Miami full out explosion especially in their best quarter.

I don't know about that retirement stuff. Usually the players wan't the ceremonies to get over so they can play.

I'm not saying that's a strict rule but generally speaking those ceremonies tend to drag on.

Anyone have the score of the Orlando/Miami game? No way in hell it's halftime after an hour! Every site still shows halftime, ESPN, Yahoo, NBA.com.

Agreed. They're not only quick with updates, but more accurate than most sites, especially Yahoo.

Just read the cbssportsline blog, they retired Alonzo Mourning's number and had a big halftime presentation. Guess that's why halftime was so long.
