If Team USA/Heat or whatever their name is had KD instead of LJ, they would of easily won last year. He doesn't fold when it counts. Most fearless player since Kobe.

Both players have different styles and ways of playing. I think it comes down to preference. Its safe to say that you wont go wrong eith either of them.

Just the thought of heat vs thunder in the finals give me chills. That series would be epic.

No the only measuring stick for who's the best player is who can hit clutch shots.

Doesn't matter if you average 25/8/8...If a guy averages 20/5/5 a game but hit's 10 clutch shots in 60 games, He is obviously the better player.

LOL, no he didn't. did you watch? Rose played horrible in almost every game of the post season last year. Rose would have played horrible if they put Mike Bibby on him. The Heat defense shut Rose down, not Lebron single handedly. It's a complete myth that Lebron solo shut down Rose.

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers were outscored 9-0 late.
LeBron James takes a lot of, well, Heat for not finishing ballgames. And a lot of it is warranted, the way he tends to disappear and almost takes himself out of plays when it comes to clutch time.

Kobe Bryant, however, is known as “the best closer in the game” by many.

But not on Wednesday.

The Lakers butchered a7-point lead with two minutes to go, with Bryant having a hand in a majority of those miscues down the stretch of a 77-75 loss at Oklahoma City.

Here’s how the play-by-play looked down the stretch, and it didn’t look good for Bryant:

3:20: Bryant misses 24-footer.
3:16 Bryant foul on Westbrook.
1:59 James Harden drives past Bryant for layup, LA leads 75-70.
1:47 Bryant turnover, Durant steal and dunk, LA leads 75-72.
1:39 Steve Blake pass goes off Bryant’s hand.
1:00 Harden blocks a Bryant field-goal attempt.

Maybe the best player of the postseason is Kevin Durant, who led the Thunder on a 9-0 run to end the game. He’s definitely starting to make the MVP voters reconsider their votes cast last month.

As for the Lakers, this all but wraps it up for their season (with back-to-back games Friday and Saturday, it’s going to be tough to take Games 3 AND 4 in L.A.). And when Bryant can’t close out a game, you know the Lakers are in trouble. it's obvious durant lives for the game. demands to take the last shot. hes only 23; i think in 3-4 years he will surpass lebron.. lebron is also great, but has been coddled and has had to live up to expectations, where durant has been largely under the radar to the public.

Through all this conversation Bryant's name isn't coming up. He can still hit the shots but he doesn't have that bounce in his step these kids have. Lakers are just old? Im not a Dwight fan but they could have had Artest, Odom and Howard in the front court with Sessions and Bryant in the back. At least they'd be running.

OKC vs SA will be great series. Youth vs Experience.
