    I'm tired of games being disrupted with ticky-tack nonsense on protecting the QB, protecting the WR, etc.

    If viewers have to put up with that nonsense than coaches shouldn't be actively violating the rules. Period.

    Payton and Williams couldn't have been saying a bigger F YOU to the league and its viewers by doing that. If they had real balls they'd go after the players too - then the issue would be dead forever.

    Bottom line yes Payton should be suspended but a year is too much. Sad part is the saints will still be a playoff team with Carmichael calling the plays. Sorry but this not your daddy Saints. Roster is deep and talented, we can take a few suspensions on the defensive side of the ball and still be a little better than the rest. If you don't believe, watch , time will tell.

    I don't worry about the Saints too much as a Bears fan. If they meet in the playoffs, the Saints have zero chance in Chicago, the Bears have zero chance in New Orleans. Just depends on where the game is, lol.

    I thought it was a really tough suspension also. I would think that he could slap a suit on this one possibly. Who knows what he will do all of this time he will have also.
