Default Do you pay attention when players say something like this?

I certainly wouldn't bet against this. lol How about you?

Arenas said he plans on reserving a little extra effort for two Team USA assistant coaches: Portland Trail Blazers head coach Nate McMillan and Phoenix Suns head coach Mike D'Antoni.

"I'm going to be the silent assassin this year," he said. "I can't wait to play the Suns and Portland. Against Portland, Nate McMillan, I'm going to try to score 100 in two games and against D'Antoni, I'm going to score 100 in two games. I'm going to try."

Gilbert is notorious for saying things like this. I love it. I hope he lights D'Antoni's goofy ass up like the Fourth of July. Of course, against the Suns defense that's not saying very much.

pags, Arenas was cut/faked injury, that is the whole point of the statement he wants to get back at the coaches from the team that did not want him. Arenas is one of the hardest working most competitive guys in the league, I don't know how you guys cannot have more respect for a guy that went from the 5th best player on his college team, to the 4th leading scorer in the NBA. He played the best in the biggest games last year, he led the Wizards to a 3-0 record over the champion Detroit, and averaged like 45 a game against the MVP Nash

my starting 5 if I could have anyone would be

    Duncan
    Wallace
    Artest
    Bryant
    Arenas
    90pts

I was going to say something similar about Arenas, he almost led his team past the Cavs. It was the refs and Lebron, in that order, that beat the Wizards.

That would be great except that Wallace is such an offensive liability. I don't think the best team in the world should have to play 4 on 5 on offense?
