I was pretty active with sportsbook.com about five years ago and never had any problems. Got five-figure checks a couple of times quickly. But these days, I just stick to the top-tier books.

sportsbook.com as well. Only one I've used until moving to 5dimes. Everything about the site itself as far as CS and lines were to me at least, very well done. It's the withdrawals and handling of money I hated, took about 5 weeks to get a check, hated it. Now that I see you can get your money within a day, there's no sense in me sticking with them.
That being said, waiting until MLB to bet with 5dimes, but now I'm reading a lot of good reviews about betislands, thinking they might be a tad better?
***** is rated D here which is way off since their sister site ***** is a C rating. ***** has better customer service then them and the same payout speed since they became active 3 months ago.
IMO it should be upgraded but I dont work here.

If lower tier books were all that were available then I guess some would consider them better than nothing. But as long as there are A rated books there is no reason to send money to a high risk book. Some of the books mentioned in this thread are a few bad booking days from joining the ranks of Synbet, Lazorwager and Creditwagering. Others like Sportsbook.com and SBG have ripped off scores of players over many years. Both groups fall into the category of who needs the hassle when there are much safer options?

If an ole boy is just going to lose then in reality a D or F rated book is just fine.
Look at the recent Ez street situation where a guy made and lost 7 deposits. On his 8th deposit he hit it out of the park winning over $40k. And what did he get paid from this D book?? Nothing. We see this same story over and over. Stay with the good books because you never know when you are going on a run and when you do you want touch the cash not be stiffed.

About 96% to 98% fall into the category you call career losing gamblers. In my 13 years in this racket I've noticed very sharp players never fund a Ez street or any second tier books. They fund Pinny, Greek, Betfair, Bookmaker type places. Then there is the group who are more angle guys because they are not sharp enough to beat a solid book straight up. Nothing against them just stating fact. These are the guys who fund anywhere that has a good bonus and a slow moving line and we have helped many of them through the years.
Bottomline is if you are an everyday gambler or very sharp stay with A books. If you want to try to make money exploiting slow lines and bonuses you have to play at low rated books or as Durito likes to call it "manage risk" which is code for get in and get out before they goup.

Durito I'm talking about true professionals. The guys behind TheGreek, Pinny, Billy Walters, Rue, Baxter and a thousand others. I can assure you they are not wasting their time polish middling out of a crap book. That's a different group and I have nothing against them. You and the SickGambler types scavenge the lower rated books. Even Sick Gambler would admit he couldn't couldnt beat Pinny and wouldnt waste time trying. You can't put the scavenger class in the same group as real professional players that are making a million+ a year.
