Maybe its just me but I feel like everytime I post a play I like and am going to bet in the best bet page it doesnt come through. I know luck and al that bs has nothing to do with it im just weird like that. I feel like if I post what im taking it will somehow lose. Anyone else feel this way? It cant just be me.

    It happens sometimes. Just randomness.

Some people aren't great at picking their number one bet, but then they pick a high percentage of winners for bets two to seven, so to speak. For others it's the other way around. Rating bets is an art in itself.

You are exactly right. Betting more when you win and less when you lose is an art.. Good point bro.

Most of us bet less when we win and more when we lose.

I've got no real feelings on it one way or the other. The only time I would post plays would be for pools or contests - and I do about as well as anyone flipping a coin would do - which is the same as most forum cappers (with the exception of kdmfox who always seems to be winning).

My problem is that pools and contests seldom involve moneylines and alternate runlines, the things I have real angles on. But as long as Pinnacle and The Greek take those bets, I'm happy.

I do have my nice shirt from last year's Beat the Prick contest but I suppose that's not saying much.

Obviously has not affect on the outcome of the game, but it could force you to put in plays you don't want to make. Who really has one play a day that is always worth playing?

I only posted a game I was going to bet once and that was Houston at San Francisco, I wanted to see if anyone else thought Houston would play to lose as I did. Beyond that, I feel like it's a jinx to post games I want to bet on.

I think this ways sometimes. The key is posting picks just to post picks. if your'e doing it for any other reason - don't post them.

I would make my bets, and if I remembered, post them.
No one really cares if you win/lose or whatever.
Look at the TINK! Thread of the baseball season easy, outside of the dog system bets.:>

i wouldn't call it so much bad luck as i would me being just old school, in regards to posting my plays.

I usually don't myself- not enough time in a day for me to spend time writing something up with my plays. I type like a paper asshole and get too wordy.

Is kdmfox your ghost or something? Seriously out of all the people to mention, you mention Mr.average at best kdmfox? The guy has had 2 picks in the last 6 months. I guess he picks winners when I am not on here cause I have never seen the guy do anything special..

You can't be serious, there has to be some reason why you mentioned kdmfox.. I would love to know why
