    Talking Starbury's PER is 0.77

That's the lowest I've seen. Meanwhile he's making $20 million this year. He's got to be the most overpaid player in any sport anytime in history. Unbelievable.

pro athletes should only be offered 1 year contracts, with 80% being based on performance.

    No guaranteed money.

Andruw Jones is a douchebag. Came into camp last year overweight after signing that deal with the Dodgers. They made a lot of dumb moves and everyone is right who mentioned Kevin Brown, Darren Dreifort, and Andruw Jones. I would also say Juan Pierre could make the cut. $9/year for a guy that is a singles hitter and a weak outfielder is ludicrous.

Slick, I totally agree. More often than not, I see guys perform very well in "contract" years and then fail to live up to expectations after getting their huge payday. It's ridiculous how much some players actually get paid in professional sports. The NFL is pretty bad because I see guys getting guaranteed money for like $30 million and they don't even have to play a down.
