Default WSEX.. Do They Have Any Weaknesses?

Seems like they take pretty decent size wagers
    software lighting quick
    decent juice
    pay fast
    plain but effective race book
    solid interactives
    very little downtime
    been around forever

I think the 24 phone service is overrated for books as is 24 phone betting also especially for this book because its not a world book like Bet365, even Cris and Pinnacle.

The no rake poker is great but it did not take off like they thought

JJ, I play there a lot. I really like them. I was going to say what SBR John said. It seems like it is hard to get in touch with them from a customer service standpoint. Otherwise, that is the one and only weakness I can think of. Not meaning to quote another esteemed poster, but they are solid.

The balance doesn't update when you place a wager.
Sometimes you can accidentally double click on a wager and it actually gives you the wager one time and then immediately says line moved. So it appears for all practical purposes that you didn't get the bet in. Refer to point 1 you can't immediately tell that your balance went down and when you go somewhere else to get it in you've now bet it twice. That's a big one for me. It's happened to me several times. It's great when it wins but sucks bad when it loses because I almost never know until I'm synching up my spreadsheet to my books at the end of the day.

$5,000 max w/d per day is weak and only M-F. I know it's the same as WWTS but still.

Also no reload bonuses of any kind that I'm aware of.

Of course I could list just as many things that they are great at but you didn't ask for that.

Personally, I HATE the drop-down menus for bet amounts. Other than that I have no complaints. Super fast and reliable site. No hassles.

I've had an account there since 2001 when thaey used to pay 4% interest on your account balance. Now that was cool!

WSEX is a sponsor here so take my words with a grain of salt. But they are great to have an account at. Very honorable and respectful professionals. Very fun interactive betting even though I can't win with them.

What do you mean Roller the balance does not update? I think you have to hit refresh after you make a bet and it updates

Exactly. Why do I have to hit refresh? Just give me an automatic update on how much I have left.

Guardian still pays 10% interest on your account balance.

I used to despise the drop-down preset bet amounts for the first few months that I played there. Now, I like it, because of the speed with which you can place the bet.

Having said that, I think WSEX should try to do what Carib did with their software. Carib also has the standard drop-down preset bet amounts like WSEX, but about a year ago (maybe longer?) they added the ability to bet a specific amount of your choosing, rather than a standard preset amount ... it takes a lot longer, but at least Carib allows you the option of doing this. That's what WSEX needs to do, too.

WSEX is top shelf. Quick payouts and their interactives are unique to the industry.

Great book, my only complaint is their betting amount is structured for certain amounts.

    amen brother.

its really sad now i have to recheck every wager i make there as i got burned really good.

its inconceivable to me in this day and age that i cant see wager accepted and my updated balance.

a solid b book until they fix that and i have steered people away because of it

    I guess weaknesses are:

    1. Balances not updating
    2. No one likes drop down pre set wagering amounts
    3. Inability to make multiple wagers on one pop
    4. Harder than most books to get someone live

In concluding overall like Chucky says WSEX is top shelf

Exactly. Hate the drop down preset. I have to hit refresh on every bet, kinda annoying but I can live with it.

Never had to call wsex, so 24 hr phone doesn't bother me.

their have, like almost any other sponsor here, very bad lines for soccer. Actually, today is a game for Primera liga in Spain and they do not even have any odds posted yet. They really suck for soccer.
The only sponsor here which is good for soccer is Pinnacle, especially from this season when they started to post lines even for the lower leagues!

WSEX is not a world book

Caters only to American Sports, soccer lines are out of a newspaper

    Bet only usa sports there

I heard they are offering a 20% bonus now. Is this true? I see nothing on their site about it.

    Hello Sports Fans,

It's that time of the year! The game-day cleats are getting broken in, injury reports are flying, and new stats are being crunched. Are you ready? Take a few minutes to reload your account at World Sports Exchange and we will add 20% to all deposits received between August 28th and opening Sunday, September 10th. (*Some restrictions apply*)

*Maximum bonus is $200. Bonus plus deposit must be rolled over 5 times in the sportsbook. Poker and casino play do not count towards rollover. Unearned bonus money may not be used in the poker room. Accounts without sportsbook activity for 30 days will have their deposit bonus rescinded.*

Deposited today and got the bonus, its automated again.
They dont have it listed under promotions on their page this time it seems, but my last transaction at Wsex was a cashout so it should be good for most players.

The offer says this is good on all depsoits and has a $200 bonus max. Anyone know if this max is per deposit or total across all deposits?

In other words, how many times can this be hit with $1K deposits?

Im guess the answer is once, but I am hopeful.

As far as juice goes, they are nice in bases but extremely average (-110 sides) for all of the other major sports.
