Default Exchanges vs In Running.. There is a Difference

Mansion would be considered an exchange

Tradesports is more of an in running place

    Right or wrong?

    Wrong.

Any exchange can be in running, if they offer bets during matches. Mansion have done this for soccer recently, Tradebetx Do it for many sports

At TS you can get out of a featured game at near full price, when you feel a backdoor coming (or buy in at almost nothing). The market maker is basically exposed the entire game. This is not the same as live betting, where you always have to wait for the next line while the game is taken off the board. Expect better value at TS as well.

I was expecting Mansion to offer the same at its exchange, but haven't seen it. They would have to do so on a consistent basis to qualify as an exchange, not just a soccer game here and there. To call yourself an exchange just based on pregame betting is somewhat misleading, and it doesn't attract a whole lot of action. When I've placed offers at Mansion, they usually still sit there hours later. At TS they get picked up a lot quicker.

It's not the first time I've heard this, but it hasn't been my experience at all. Over 75% of the time I get a better number at Mansion of Matchbook than at pinnacle. Often it is much better, not just 1-2 cents.

I'm talking after commission they are usually much better (Although on Matchbook I get a reduced commission which helps quite a bit). All I'm talking about here is MLB, I have no idea how their lines will compare for foots.

How did you get reduced comission? Agree to make markets for a certain sport?
