    home advantage in world cup final
    west indies haven't faced decent spinners entire tournament...now they have to face top spinners from srilanka
    the pitch will be made to favor the home team...so expect a turning pitch

    srilanka is overall a better team with great bowling and decent batting lineup. Add to that they are playing at home and crowd will be crazy. They havent won any major tournament since 1996 world cup. There will huge pressure to win this one at home.

    In a 20 over game a 36 run win is pretty comfortable, especially given that the West Indies only gave them a fairly low total to chase. In home conditions against a team that only really had 1 decent bowler, Sri Lanka should have eased home.

    The pressure of winning a world tournament in front of their home fans probably got to them.

    It's a great sport. If wagering though, you have to be careful to check which kind of game it is.

    Some games are 20 overs a side, some 50 overs a side (both where teams only get a chance to bat through once). Some games last up to 5 days with each team getting a chance to bat through twice. And after 5 days you can still end up with neither team winning!!

    well West Indies has beaten srilanka. i think that sri lanka has made it a habit of losing in the finals. so sad about it
