They just RIGGED the 2nd Half Total

2nd Half Total Opens at 144.5 Then it moved to 145.5.

    It Lands on 145.

Some whale made a fortune on the middle

And if you don't think some whale made a fortune on this middle due to the refs, then I can't help you.

i also just want to throw out there that i was live betting using bovada during this all star game. i was ready to hammer some spreads when one team was down (didnt matter who) as I thought the game would be within 5 or 6 points. Well here's where it gets interesting. Bovada usually posts spreads of 10+ or more. For example, if a team was down 20, and the original spread was a pickem, then they may throw out a +15 spread to bet on. HOWEVER, last night there was no such thing! even when the east was behind the furthest amount during the game, they would only post a +9 for the east and nothing higher. Is there an explanation for this? Or should I go with my thinking- they knew it'd get close and didnt wanna lose serious money. (I took the +9 btw). Just throwing out some discussion points !

There isn't a whale in the world that would attempt to middle a 144.5-145.5 half total.

That's not accurate, nothing wrong with trying to middle a point on some single-digit spreads (especially on key NFL numbers). Not OK on totals though, especially on insanely large ones.

^ He agrees with you. He was just saying that saying one point in general is wrong, as some points do have value. Just not NBA totals.
