    The amazing thing is that he has one of the best teams in motorsports around him, and he still hasn't been able to win. I don't really think he has a chance today. Should be a good watch though.

    So true. He's got more commercials than any driver on the circuit. Which all relates to money!!!!!!!!!! I see him settling in and being a decent owner. Not that he's smart enough to run 3 or 4 teams, (neither is Hillbilly Mikey Waltrip) but he will have the money to hire good people to run them for him. I really see him taking total control of DEI in the future and putting the boot to Teresa.

    Oh c'mon Mike. 18 wins and finishes Top5 better than 1 in 5 races started.

    The guy can drive. The difference has been just in his head I think. And he looks to be in a better head space in 2012 than I have ever seen him in before (in last 6 years)

    I think Junior will be in the chase and could win at least once this year, if not more.

    Only thing he wins are endorsements, and that is because of his name. I wouldn't be surprised if his endorsement deals start to tail off a bit in the coming years, especially with Danica Patrick in the mix. She is the mega walking endorsement.

    guy has to win to actually be hated on...3+ years in best euipment with a goose egg in the win column...

    not to mention he never even sniff the top 5 in 90% of the races he runs in...people act like its an accomplishment for junior to crack the top 5

    edwards has 4 wins in the last 2 seasons..and 12 past 4, in that same time Jr. has 1 total.

    and edwards actually runs in top 5 every week and that is why he was almost the champion...JR. ,makes top 5 and his fans throw a party..he was good early in career and has been awful for years now...hell id love to see him win cause its good for nascar, but he just never runs up front....he was king of the plate tracks for years but now hes a mid-pack racecar driver at best...hope he does better this year though

    Look, JR has a win last year but runs out of gas turn 4, another one last year when he pushed Johnson to victory instead of going for the win, if biffle tries to pass kenseth JR probably passes them both.

    He had a bad few years because he wasn't focused.

    He's focused again as evidenced by last year.

    7th place in the chase with 0 wins in 3 years and 1 time the whole time hes been at hendrick in the best equipment is sad and far from an accomplishment...mark martin has done better than him in hendrick by 8x the amount!!!

    hes the most over-rated driver in nascar, and everybody that is neutral will tell u the same thing...only Jr. fans act like hes accomplished anything in years....

    ur argument is he "almost" won 1 race last year becuase he stretched is gas mileage...come on

    all u got is "almosts" and "if this happened, and "if-another guy did this", but hey they didnt...Jr. doesnt win becuase he doesnt race in the top 5, so hes never in contention

    so carl has 11 point race wins last 4 seasons to dale jr.s 1...nuff said....and i dont like edwards but u compared the 2 which isnt good for ur guy

    Anyway, I'm not arguing with you that he hasn't done anything in 3 years. That's all facts like you said. it's obvious he lost his focus or whatever happened and he regained that dedication last year.

    I'm saying he had a solid year last year and a good start to this year. Nothing more. I'm not arguing he's the greatest of all time or anything

    like i said i wish he would do well...but guy doesnt seem to care imo....better he does better for nascar...but until he runs top 5 and top 10 regularly hes just average at best...he should be winning races almost every year in hendrick equipment

    its like the guys driving ability just shut off a few years ago or something
