them along with Cris are tied for 5th in my ratings...betjamaica's just a solid, all-around book...really like the -105 friday nights during football as well...

No Guesser it took some time, they were generic at first with regular juice and not many bet offers.

It has exploded the last 6 months

Not even close ... if it wasn't public knowledge, you'd never believe they were related to Olympic.

Olympic gives you a 60 second grace period to place your bet, probably the most generous feature of its kind at any online book.

BetJamaica, on the other hand, places your bet on a 30-45 second delay, and for myself and many others, rejects the bet 99% of the time. I feel like I should be sending them a bill for my services acting as their de facto linesman - maybe John or Bill can give me their mailing address so that I can invoice them ?

Hardly a top 5 book. Hardly a top 15 book.

I know exactly how Halifax feels. I'm doing their work for them.

That delay sucks and is unfair for hardworking bettors like myself.

There's not much to tell. Last year's MLB season I first had my limits dropped, and a couple weeks later was shown the door. I will say that it was done very curtiously and professionally. They offered to transfer my account "upstairs" (Olympic I think). I said just Neteller my balance and it hit my account in under an hour.

I still think BetJamaica is a great book, but if you bet the limit and are a consistent winner there, you may be on borrowed time. At least you can count on Scotty being straight up with you and no hassles on the way out.

I agree stump, but would like to find out more about the delay...I have DSL and don't really experience it...but then again, I don't bet a whole lot at betjam either, because 90% of my action goes to my top 4 books...

Thats a problem I have with some of these books if you win you can be shown the door, WTF thats what we are supposed to do right? . They want losers lol, if you lose consistantly you are in the wrong business. I should lose more to be on the right side of a book wow i can only shake my head.

    gamblingman,

I don't believe that betjamaica falls into the category of a book being scared of winners (like VIP, skybook and bet $3.65)...that's just my experience...

I am standing by my top 5 rating, even though some good posts in this thread not agreeing.

The horse racing interface is excellent.

Are they top 5? Olympic and Jamaica together certainly are. Oly is more hardcore while Jamaica has great service.

I think the jury is still out on if Jamaica can get a following like a CRIS or a Bodog. They have a lot more time to put in and a lot more customers to satisfy before they are a legacy type of Pinny, Oly, CRIS type book imo.

I would pick Jamaica over Bodog for one huge reason. I think the owner of Bodog is way too visible and this could be another BOS waiting to happen, also Jamaica has way better gambling people day to day operation.

I think the owner had some problems with the costa rican version of the fbi and could have problems in the future. Bodog has comercials on tv all the time go figure is internet gambling legal or what but I do like both books.

I still stick to them having a top 5 rating as well, JJ...can't believe their showing 21.5 on Nebraska right now though...everyone else is at 21...
