Default Literally Saw A Bookmaker Takes Someone's Home Today

We were playing dice next door and 4 guys pull up to this house and go up to the door and the guy comes out and words were exchanged and the homeowner gave the keys to the bookmaker, the wife comes flying out yelling at these men and they explained to her he lost it due to gambling the last year or so plus the $1000 interest per week they were charging him. LOL!!!!! It was funny then the husband and wife have a fight, sad thing is they have 2 kids. Well the guys let the woman back in the house to take anything she wanted for the kids, her personal stuff, ect so they were nice to her. The homeowner starting getting loud and once guy clocked him with a bat behind the legs. We were all scared shit next door. I was later told he owed only like 30k more on the house so I guess bookmaker took it because of small note left. I would say house is worth about 400k because it could be a two family. The guys helped the woman load her SUV and she went to her moms with the kids, one of guys gave the kids money also. A locksmith came also and changed locks. Man these guys do not fuk around. I always heard about this but never witnessed it live. It was amazing and scary.

I'm happy to know that when transferring possession of a house the only exchange required is the house keys tranferred between parties.

Why did the bookmaker take the keys from the homeowner since the locksmith was going to change the locks anyway? At least let the homeowner have the keys. JMHO

The bookmaker did it the right way because if he just got a locksmith it would of been breaking and entering. This was voluntarily done. Some of you guys do not have much street smarts.

So in the state of New Jersey a single exchange of house keys seals the deal for house transfer? Lawyers must be starving there.

How is the mortgage transferred? Property taxes? The bank will not let you pay mortgage at a house you don't own or rent.

Why don't you ask the bookmaker that took the house and come back to tell us coach? Wear the rug when you go meet him but lose the goggles.

Bookmaker would be dumb to kill the guy if he didnt give up the house, or harass the family. It's pretty easy to be like "Hey police, I am feeling like this guy is coming after me. If something goes down or something happens to me it'll be these guys" Bad story jj it doesn't make sense. I am with pavy on this one.

How does the rule against perpetuities come into play, if at all, under New Jersey property law in this type of transaction, Coach? Could it ever be an issue?

You guys go by the book too much and in the underworld those rules do not apply.

jjgold:" paver you will not last 1 month in my neigborhood"

Do you realize why you can't win against me baldy? You can't be living in a $400,000 neighborhood and being a tough hood at the same time. The more you fib the worse you sound baldy.

JJGOLD, don't you have better things to do then make stories? I suggest you stop breathing that shitty air in that shit hole you're living in.
