Amazing. No true favorite. Give me a few longshots. Early I like Granderson, C Gonzalez, M Kemp, Dan Uggla, and A Pujols.

Field +1000 - Alfonso Soriano, Michael Morse, JJ Hardy, Josh Willingham, Carlos Pena, etc etc. etc. You never know if some unknown young guy could jump onto the scene.

I mean, was Jose Bautista even listed in 2010?

outside of the the obvious choice of Bautista (who has hit 18 more HRs than anyone else over the last two year)

Reynolds may be worth it at +3000

No value here whats so ever, just by the fact that you have to tie up your money till next October, value would only be
if you were gauranteed some sort of a return in that 8 month span.

Where is the value when any of the guys you invest in can get hit by one pitch during a long season, fuccking up your investment.

You wanna good future to bet with value, here it is.

China to win more gold medals then any other country in the summer Olympics.

I don't think he was listed in 2010, last year he was +800.

Utter nonsense. I guess you'd say the same thing if every player was listed at even odds? Somebody's going to win, right, just pick the right one?

    It's all about value.

My response was to Masters. Look at the opening post and title. I said value, where are you coming from with every player listed at even odds? Never mind. Stay out of the thread if you can't see the response to a response.

Al said there is no pick that has value and your reply was that someone's going to win, just pick the right side. That's where I'm coming from.

fielder probably has the worst odds. he will not hit as many HR in the new park. he will probably be in the mid to low 30s range.

I dont like fielder one bit. Leyland might be a wise ass and bat him 3rd in the lineup.

Miguel Cabrera +1200, he will be forced to pitched to. Which will give a lot more opportunities then before because he got prince protecting him.

Miggy is in terrible shape. He may miss 20 games from suspensions and just being out of shape playing third base.

    You want value

Well Jose Bautista won last year with 43 and he's 8/1
Curtis Granderson finished in 2nd place last year with 39 and is listed at 30/1 I'd say that's great value

Teammate Texiera had a down year and finished tied for 3rd with 39 and he's at 10/1
Matt Kemp tied for 3rd and he's 20/1

    You want a longer shot?
Jay Bruce is 25 years old and has been in the bigs 4 years. He's increased his HR total every single year. He's 20/1
Compare that to Mike Stanton who is listed at 8/1. Stanton only hit 2 more hr than Bruce last year and is 2 years younger.

    First off pay attention.

He never said there was no value, i did! he said there was value with the field.

Why the **** would he or me have to exit stage left cause we tried to tell you there was no value,we didn't say we want to kill you or hurt you, we just responded to your thread, where you asked about value.

Miggy is the best hitter in the AL bad shape or not. The thing is he has a bad ball park and plays in bad weather games. How many of those HRs will turn into doubles? Miggy is too smart to always swing for the fences and have a big HR total and low average, he's a great all around hitter.

Texiera isn't nearly as good as a hitter but he plays in a ball park custom designed for left handed power hitters and he has so much protection in that lineup. He had a bad year last year and finished 3rd, what happens if he has an average year hitting wise?
