I normally stay away from betting crap like this but it may be fun to talk about at least. Anyone got any thoughts on the field this year? Other than it's the most boring list of names I can remember?

I did this last night instead of betting the field vs shumpert, but apparently they cancel all the bets made if all 4 scheduled don't compete (at 5dimes at least).

I like Williams now I think. Depending on the new odds.

They gave him - cause they figured Shumpert would get the most votes. Also I think he's won more dunk contests in the past not sure. All 4 participants don't look creative at all..... and none of the guys have overly impressive hops either. Always a popularity contest.... Blake was the 3rd best dunker last year maybe 2nd best... and he won.

Not sure how but bookies probably figure Shumpert has the most likelihood of a flashy dunk and a win seeing as he the rest of the players come from small market teams. +160 for the field was still good odds if you ask me but not for a large sum cause that contest is fishy as hell. It was +160 a week ago... people are just not fast enough to get the best price not that it matters with this Jeremy Evans replacement.

Either way if Shumpert is hurt bookies lucked out.

i really like budinger in this one for the pure value in it. Of course its a popularity contest and no one is going to vote for the white guy, but he has amazing hops and was highly recruited for volleyball coming out of highschool.

Chase finished 2nd in a dunk contest in HS with a couple 50 dunks.
