Wow. Watched this team play for the 1st time tonight. I am not impressed. I highly doubt they make it to the sweet 16.
I think Kansas might be worth a big play on Saturday when this Mizzou team goes on the road in that matchup.

You need to watch them more than 1 game. Kstate is kryptonite to them. They are good and have potential to go deep.

hmmm 3 losses 2 to k-state 1 to oklahoma st both conference play were it is easier to lose but win against kan must mean kansas sucks too... how bout baylor they suck and texas beat them twice all slugs on there win list....im not impressed REALY... so u probably bet em and they lost(foolish bet btw) deff means they are crap and lets write em off

a lot of teams far better than other teams that are ranked cant play every team and k state can prob beat every team that is ranked....some mid majors are ranked dont get me wrong they are quality teams but comp isnt same caliber... dont get caught up in records

Mizzou are legit enough right now through the regular season. However, they will get knocked out early in the Dance as usual, and I will bet against them until they get knocked out. They'll be lucky to get to the sweet 16 with their rebounding and relying on 3 point shooting too much.

Sounds like you don't watch much of the Big 12 if you think Mizzou isn't good and K-State is bad. K-State has beat Baylor and Mizzou back to back on the road and almost swept both of them - did sweep Mizzou. Mizzou is a jump shooting club, if you have good perimeter defense you can beat them. Problem is not many teams in the country have been able to match-up. But if they're cold like any jump shooting team, they are beatable any day of the week.
Mizzou is your prototypical boom or bust team in the tournament IMO. If they hit their shots - they could be in the Final Four. If they get D'ed up, they could lose on the opening weekend.

You really think the difference between elite and garbage in college basketball is that much?
For instance, Illinois was beating Missouri with a couple minutes left before they blew it. Now Illinois is losing by 20+ to Nebraska while Missouri lines up for a 1 or 2 seed.

Missouri is ranked right where they should be, they are a very good team that for some reason plays poorly against K-State (who shot 53%/66% I might add).
They have a dozen or more quality wins and will likely make it to final 8.
