Trade him to the Nets for some first rounders and a back up big man. Deron Williams would probably stay with the Nets then.....D-Will...Melo....Kris Humphries and Brooke Lopez is a sick starting line up.

you guys are frigging retarded. Nets have jacked up 50 3s and made almost half of them. 3 point shot scoring differential is 30 points. it is a miracle Knick are even within 10.

This game is a simple case of one team making a lot of 3s while taking a lot of 3s.

I am no Lin honk and not making excuses or reasons beyond a simple basketball explanation as to why Kncks are losing. Nets are making a lot of 3s it is basically that simple.

If they use him as trade bait its would definitely be a win/win in my opinion. Lin was obviously not that comfortable w/ Melo on the floor. If they trade him, Lin would get the offense that he is comfortable with back, & the Knicks would also have an opportunity to add to the depth that they already have with the players they could possibly get in exchange for Melo..

It's going to be hard to assimilate him without much practice time with Lin, but he's too talented to not get this figured out eventually. They'll mesh in time for the playoffs. Remember, an 8 seed won last time there was a lock out, the Knicks could do it this year

All this talk about Melo is garbage should wait. I'm not defending him. I don't like him . Give him about a week to get his legs back and stroke back. He CAN play but he is like MOSS. He'll play hard when he wants to. THAT has to change. He has never played with Lin so he needs to adjust to that as well. Playing with a new point guard is totally different than with any other position.

It is amazing how once he comes back the Knicks revert back to losing.

Here's the big question. Will the Knicks eat their pride and trade Melo if they continue to struggle with him in the lineup? They gave up so much to get him, but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and admit your faults.

Offer him up for Dwight Howard. I doubt the Magic will get an offer with a name like Carmelo. He'll sell tickets and you could try to build around him for what it is worth.
