They've done a similar thing with soccer for lesser amounts and maybe it's workikng for them. If it has to be a $1100 then at the least they're getting players who are comfortable depositing that amount. Plus they must love the other side. You're right, they're basically giving away $500.

Reading the terms it doesn't look like this is just for new accounts, so I agree it's a bit of a head-scratcher.

i'm a little leary of this sounds to good to be true .......either that or more money than brains, surely 10-20 million that they could lose on this could be more effectively spent marketing? Maison is what B rated book and there has been some problems with bets missing last few weeks.

imo, it makes much more sense to bet it now (if you are willing to bet it at all) ... line moves wont really affect anything in terms of their promotion (unless they pull it).

I played the 1,100 at mansion -5 and elswhere for 500 +5. Any change in line doesn't change anything.

No, it isn't. Only 3% of games end with a margin of victory of exactly 5 pts. You'd be paying a lot more (than 3%) for the 1/2 pt.

Everyone else has Steelers -4 1/2 -110 or better. I realize Mansion wants the extra half point, or anything else they can get to mitigate potential losses. I'd still like to get the best price, if I can get it.
