    Default BetEmpire

I was looking to sign up with these guys with the 25% bonus they offer. They are sporting a C- rating from SBR which doesn't always mean a bad book. I joined BetDon years ago at that rating and never had a problem with them. I was wondering if anyone else here has dealt with this book and what your experience was.

    Thanks in advance!

this book has battled back to be a little bit more respectable nowadays, considering they had a rating of an "F" just 17 months ago.

This book was formerly in the BetUS fold, and is said to be under new management. Maybe, maybe not. SBR handled complaints about BetEmpire last year, though I don't remember details.

If you're the kind of player who wants to grab a 25% bonus and scalp it out and go on to greener pastures it might be worth a go. Be sure it's not a match-play bonus, though, and that you get the roll-over requirement in writing. If you're looking for a good out you'd be a heck of a lot better off at any of the books on SBR Odds.

Default Would be very very careful

Bet Empire was at one time linked with Worldwager and or still is. Very conflicting reports. Obviously Worldwager is a bunch of scammers and took me for 5 figures (yeap I was retarded). Anyway there software is identical to worldwager, and Steve Henessey who is a line manager or moderator at betempire was at worldwager. Long story short Steve said the owner of worldwager was using his identity and John Weaver (not Steve Henessey) screwed me out of my money. To me seems like a load of bull and seems way to risky to send any money. Many, Many other smaller legit books out there

    Just my two cents

    Thanks for the replys.

Only reason I'm looking there is that they have a variety of bets that other places don't.

I started playing at BetEmpire during the NCAA tournament this past season. I met my roll over and requested a Neteller pay out. The money was in my account within 30 minutes. I just took advantage of their 25% cash reload bonus. I would recommend playing there. They are internet only. They have always been that way. Being rated C- you may want to put a small amount in there and see how you like them. I have also been very impressed with their customer service.

Sounds like their definition of someone too sharp for the big bonus is anyone with a Neteller account.

Catsfan...Did you happen to gamble through your whole deposit each time?...In that case they would be playing faces and silently waiving the rule...But if you happen to have a good run, then they've got that rule in place and can use it to hassle you.

I don't think I have ever put in more than a nickel there. I played thru my roll over (whatever that was, probably 5X) and then made a withdrawl. Then I lost the rest of my money. A month or two later they called me up and offered me a 20% cash bonus. I deposited $500 via Neteller and received my bonus.

    $1000 deposit on April 22nd.
    $1500 withdrawl on May 8th
    $500 deposit on May 22nd.

Yes, that is correct. I remember specifically getting a call from them regarding that last deposit. I was at my son's baseball game when they called me. Even though I had taken out $1500 two weeks earlier they were offering me either 20 or 25% if I were to make another deposit. I know my balance was zero at the time.
They offered me 10% on my Net losses to start this football season if I made a matching deposit. Originally they told me I could get $160 but then when I was ready to make my deposit they told me they had made a mistake as they missed my $1500 withdrawl. So they told me I was only eligible for a $10 bonus. That is correct. I deposited a total of $1600 there and withdrew a total of $1500. So that puts me down $100 to them thus the 10% back on my net losses is $10.
The only problem I have had with them is trying to make a deposit via Neteller Insta cash. Something is screwed up on their site and every time I try to make an Instacash deposit it comes across as a rgeular Neteller deposit. Since I have no money in my Neteller account right now I am unable to make the deposit. I believe if I go to Neteller's site and makean instacash deposit into my Neteller account and then transfer that to BetEmpire they will credit me the fees.

Thanks Catsfan for the specific details of your deposit and bonus history. Info like that helps everyone get a picture of what a book offers and makes good on.

Were those deposits InstaCash? I know they cost the book more, so don't assume that they'll make good on the fees.

    Regards and best of luck...

    Bookie
The first deposit I made was declined 3 times by Neteller . I then went to Neteller's site and the deposited was accepted. My next deposit was regular Neteller, and my third deposit was a combination of Instacash ($102) and regular Neteller ($398). Last week when I made my last deposit there I deposited $300 via regular Neteller (because that is all I had in my Neteller account). I tried 6 times to deposit Instacash from their site and was declined every time because on Neteller's end it was coming across as a regular Neteller transaction. I will try one more time to make an instacash deposit from their web site. If it is declined I will go to the Neteller site and do the Instacash from there into my Neteller account and then transfer the money to Empire. I will make sure to ask them first if they will still cover my fees and give me the 25% bonus. I suspect that they will but I always like to ask first. I really don't think anyone has anything to worry about this book. If you are a small recreational player I think you should give them a try if you feel comfortable. If you prefer to stay with the more established books that have a higher rating by SBR I fully understand. My experience with BetEmpire so far has been very posative.

Well I just tried one more time to make an Instacash deposit from their site and was declined. So I went to Neteller's site and BetEmpire paid the Instacash fees and gave me the 25% cash bonus. Jennifer and Pamela have always provided me excellent customer service at Empire. Give them a try. Make a small deposit and see how you like them.

That would make me want to stop playing there as well. I can never figure out why a book would cut someone off after one bet.

I agree. I have never had any problem getting ahold of them via phone ot Instant chat. I like the fact that when you are done with your instant chat they will email you the entire transcript. This is nice in case their is a dispute somewhere down the line.
