Why is it that you cannot take action on the RL or the total in MLB? I tried taking a RL a few days back unchecking both pitchers but it wont let you do that. Tried the same with the SF over today and it would not work. Tried both of them a few times but had no luck. Just thought it was strange.

Stardard procedure in some books that consider both runlines and totals direclty related to pitchers.
Their system will take them as listed pitchers by default...

I know if no book that would take that as action.

For example, if a heavy fav pitcher was scratched and was replaced by a crap pitcher the odds would move drastically. The -1½ could switch to +1½. Totals could move from 8 to 10. I don't think a bettor wants to bet Ov 8 and then find out later it was adjusted to 10.
