Default Who Plays Online Poker Here?

I play a tourney maybe once every 10 days or so for kicks but thats about it. The cash games I think have too much collusion as the $ amounts get bigger. The tourneys I think are a little more fair.

I used to play a lot. Made a fair amount. Then got more into the betting and that took up more of my time. There's only so much time in the day so poker is more or less on the backburner for now as I'd rather spend time with the family if I'm not "working".

I'm in rolemands camp. It takes a lot of time and if you intend to grind out a profit it is pretty boring and very time consuming.

I HIGHLY recommend folks NOT get involved with online poker or online casino games.

One thing is certain for me. I will only play poker at poker only sites. As much as I like WSEX's idea of no rake. I refuse to play there because I place wagers there. I won't mix the two as it becomes a nightmare to keep track of the balance in my account.

I have played quite a lot of poker online over the past two years. Slowly but surely I am learning sports betting, so I tend to play less poker than I used to, but I still enjoy playing.

Wow quess I am the exception. I play alot of online poker and am actually better at it then sports gambling. I have a ton of control and patience at the tables something im still working on with sports.

I do agree with JJ and think there is alot of collusion at cash games. I really just play sit n go's and some big tournys. I do understand how it can be dangerious as you guys states but for me it is just more convient.

I dont care to drive all over town, stay up to all hours of the night and then have to drive back home just to play poker. I'll go to school get home bout 2pm and play a few tournys till gf gets home. Then after I cook and hang out I might play a one or two more before going to bed. I would say I play maybe 6 days a week.

me too Pete, i play NL cash games several times a week, usually on Bowmans or Diamond's poker. never play any tourneys, find hours of playing a tourney can equal one hand in 5-10 NL so why bother.

It depends on the time of the year. During the football season, I play MAYBE 1 time/week - Friday night, maybe a bit during the week... The NFL takes up sooo much time watching all the games and keeping up on little details.

I'd say I play most between football and baseball seasons, unless the Mets are playing horrible..I put in 40-80 hour weeks easily playing cards when there is nothing going on. I don't play anywhere or any game or any limit/buyin or site consistently other than pokerstars and I move around a lot to bonus whore...

It really has been difficult since moving to las vegas to find time to play cards when I'm feeling 'right' and I havn't even had a chance to screw around online much (or felt 'right' - I'm very big on that). I'm also learning the local cardrooms and the ones that give me the best chance at the lowest limit possible to grind out a nice 'earning', so I see my time online becomming less, unless live poker isn't nearly as profitable... I wish it didn't cost me all but a few hundred of my roll to move out here, but whaddayagonnado.

Out of curiosity, pokerstars is the only site I play on for stakes higher than micro - I've seen very little, if any, collusion, as there are lots of watchdogs who play there. What sites are you running into collusion on?
It seems partypoker is collusion/alt account heaven (a few got nailed for it, but it is still pretty bad ,from what I understand, reading on the 2+2 forums).

Poker seems like such a grind and very unhealthy. I do not know how these pros do it everyday and playing for hours and hours. The pressure is great too as are the ups and downs.
