Default Official sign up site for free trip to the Capitol

    Here is the link:

    http://www.IVoteAndIGambleOnline.com

This is not 100% yet. The people behind it want to make sure there is enough interest in it before they commit to it. However, time is short and if this is going to happen, they need to make all of the arrangements next week.

So please sign up if you are interested and let’s make this thing happen. This is America, here’s your chance to let your Senator know how you feel. All it will cost you is time. (Pitchforks and torches are optional.)

If you can't get enough Americans to go, you might have to bring some ringers down from Canada ... we'll promise to try not to say "eh" too often.

Seems like a pretty good deal. Free trip. I actually could see it doing some good. Nothing by itself, but if one accepts that due to human nature certain vices will never die, than even just putting a good face on online gambling is a step.

You have to be an idot to do this

Go support a trip to get the American soldiers out of Iraq

JC you must now own at least 70% of WSEX to be pushing like this.

First I want to thank everyone who signed up for the trip. They received some very well thought out and cogent arguments.

Unfortunately, very few people have signed up. I find it remarkable with all of the people on all of the forums who enjoy this hobby, and I presume resent the thought of this legislation, that so few would jump at a chance for a free trip to DC to voice your opinion in person.

That being said, the people behind it will make a decision on Tuesday whether or not to move forward with a smaller group. Part of the strategy was to have a couple of hundred real people descending on the Capitol so it could generate some decent media exposure. I am not sure if a smaller group could do the same, but we'll look at the sign ups on Monday night and see.

    I will keep everyone posted.

There will be more FBI there than bettors, I would not go .

It mean nothing, Senators vote whatever they want and most people that bet cannot dent an election.

The plane is included. I think...

Have you posted this on other sites JC?
I just did so on statfox. Maybe wait a few more days with the decision to go ahead or not. No reason we couldn't get a few hundred with more exposure. Advertising is everything. "Come drink with forum friends in DC in all expenses paid trip that will briefly swing by the Senate." lol

Are you willing to give Senators money to knock down ban?

No players will not so the bill will pass easy because Vegas and AC are donating heavy money to them

You have to be some loser to go to Wash an oppose this and admit to people you have a gambling problem and cannot live without online gambling..

This bill won't pass. The issue is far too complex, and the Senate can't afford to spend too much time on it with the elections coming up.
