Default Anyone ever get their IP blocked by pinnacle

I got it unlocked now but I was without it like all day because I thought it was server problems but they blocked me for hitting refresh too many times on the halftime lines

Yep. Happened to me a few days back. I wonder if they've started trying to crack down...

Yep, they do that if you are ripping off their data and use it for scalping.

Use the XML next time, in case you are scalping that is...

Pinnacle, as far as I can tell, doesn't seem to care for what nefarious or otherwise purpose one uses their data. They seem as if they're only concerned with bandwidth usage.

Interesting thing is I've using been virtually the same amount of their bandwidth since the start of baseball season and yet it's only now that they take action. It would seem suspect for it to be just a coincidence that this happened to me at almost exactly the same time it happened to rm.

Perhaps they want to free up bandwidth for the football/basketball/hockey overlap?

Spend a few bucks and get an xml feed and put up your own server, real cheap

Guys that refresh too much kill bandwidth and should be booted from books

    So many cheap people

Or you can put the page in dynamic display. This way it auto update the line without doing refresh. There's a button on top of the page to use dynamic display.

i agree it is all about bandwidth, i actually think scalping is important to pinnacle's profit, at least against me I am up against them on bets but have lost money overall because of scalps
