The only problem is that Syria is backed by Iran, and Im pretty sure Iranian troops are fighting against the Syrian people.

Drones would be shot down by Russian anti-aircraft misiles. The Russians Navy is anchored in the Syrian port of Tartus.

The biggest reason the Americans will not start bombing is this: The American army stationed in Afghanistan had been receiving it's supplies through two main routes, one through Pakistan and the other Russia. The Pak route has been closed for close to two months, the other one through Russia will also be closed if the US starts bombing.

Russia and China vetoed the resolution because they know the US is hell bent on regime change. The USA tries to pull another stupid stunt Russia will be there to stop them cold. Russia has stated numerous times that if USA does anything to Syria or Iran they will fuk them up real good. Russia invaded Georgia and the US tried to bring humanitarian aid to the country. Russia rolled their nukes to the border and said they would target all US assets and the USA back down. I say, stay the hell out of it. The middle east has been run by dictators for 1,000's
of years. When they have a democratic society, the elected officials still act like
