Default You Need More Than One TV Nowadays

Whether your a gambler or not it is almost impossible with all the events going on everyday to have just one tv, channel surfing is time consuming and you miss too much. I would say a minimum of 3 tvs in the same room is a must in todays world . One big screen and two on the sides, if you have a good entertainment center with slots for like 17" side tvs it will look nice with the big one in the middle..

One TV is enough for me. I want to be entertained not distracted. But I don't watch as much sports as many here. I guess you can break an NFL game down to like 15 minutes of actual action so I could see how multiple TVs would keep the interest up.

I could live with 1 tv if i wasn't betting JJ.

I do feel that it's a must to at least have 2 tv's during football season though IMO

3 books in every room would make things better.

1 TV per room does it for me, maybe 2. I wouldn't even say 1 TV in a room is a must.

A TV per room is sufficient.

But that could be a good looking setup with a 60 inch LCD on a TV stand, and two 42 Plasmas on the wall behind on either side. Could end up looking like a Circuit City or something.

More than 2 TV's in the same room and on is just plain strange and kind of degenerate if you ask me. Doubly so if one of them is on a horse race.

Wait a minute. It's just taking picture in picture to a different level. You know how during March madness they have coverage of sometimes 4 games at once in the corners of the screens. Why not just have a tv on each game with the volume down? It's the same thing. That's not weird - plus you could actually see the game not this tiny little piece of the screen. If you could afford it and and set it up properly to look nice why not. With all these advertisements on tv about the sports "see how they live" by AT&T several of these guys have multiple tv's in their rec room. So why can't us gamblers who watch them?

LOL! Dude its a knockoff! Two TV's I can explain I have them setup differently. But 3? no way. Everyone that comes in the house will be asking; '...so hows the gambling problem????'.

depends on how you have that 3rd tv setup john.

you could have 2 tv's set up, along with a tv tuner card setup on your computer.

For the most part I just watch the live stats. All I need to know. (One game on in the background). Much easier to monitor many games at the same time without all the distractions and emotions. Even better: sleep through the game(s) and wake up richer.

What John says is what holds me back from a multiple tv set up in the same room, it looks like you have a gambling problem and raises red flags. I guess if it was profesionally done you can get by with 3 in the same room but would cost too much to have them built into the walls, ect.

I think the one tv and live stats and scoreboards on a pc is way more efficient like Dark Horse says..

1 TV would be perfect the size would be 8 feet wide by 6 feet high, that way it could split into 4 sections and you could watch 4 games at once, just like they got at the sports books. You could just sit at home and scream at the TV all day, perfect.

if you dont have digital cable, then you could just hook up a computer with a tv tuner card to a projector, and there you go; you can open as many windows/channels as you want then

Yeah you can put a tuner card in your computer and have six monitors hooked up at the same time then order MLB.tv, NFL network, NBA.tv, and you are set.

Having sports tickers in the living room and bedroom DIDN'T raise red flags??
