Default whats your poison during football

Hey gang footballs getting near, just thought I'd get to know what my bro's at sbr drink during sats and sun on gameday. me Im a scotch drinker although I do sometimes hit a little Jack. If it's really hot like september tends to be in Miami I might get a little goose and cranberry on ice. By the half of the 1 o'clock games im usually feelin no pain. Hey! and if one of my degenerate buddys happens to come by with a little herb well shit bonus!!! The bbq gets lit around 1pm and stays on till 4 plenty of ribs, steak I also smoke about 2 big cigars on sundays games AAAh I cant wait!!!

The mornings start with a Absolute Bloody Mary. Then off to catch some waves. Get back around 11:00am. Place needed bets. First 12 pack of Busch Light is now opened around noon. Grilling for halftime of early College games. Around 4pm I'll look at the lines again to see if I need to place any more bets. I usually put all my bets in in the morning. I'll then get to prepping dinner for the friends and family that has now gathered, and open my pint of Jagermiester and Pint of Absolute. Shots of Jager and sipping Absolute/Cranberry throughout dinner and late games. Herbal medicine is not usually in the cards but on occasion has been known to creep in.

-Vodka to wake up
-Beer to sustain
-Vodka and Jagermiester to make sure I get there.

I usually stay at home for the early games and then hit the bar for a few beers during the afternoon games.

Something makes me think you don't spend a lot of time betting on sports then, BBD!

I'm an ex-drinker of alcohol - I gave that up many years ago. There were times in my life when I would have had some colorful answers to this question but not any more. I even gave up coffee a few months back so this upcoming season I'll probably be sipping on, well, nothing.

Water if I get thirsty. Milk with dinner.

Look out world, here I come.

A nice tall glass fo water for me thank you very much. In October though, especially during the night games, I've been known to dabble in some fresh hot apple cider mmmmmm. Once in a while I'll break open the expensive bourbon and have myself a sip or 2, that stuff is good for what ails you in small doses!

Amen! Nothing like a good Bloody Mary on Sunday a.m. as a precursor to a tailgate or couch potato lunch. Don't go for the 'designer' vodkas since they're distilled too smooth and I like my spirits to bite back a little.

i got hooked on bloody mary mornings, while sitting wioth my grandfather during my grandmother illness.

every Sunday, i'd make a pitcher of spicey bloody mary's, and scramble up a big batch of eggs w/cheese.

was a great time... and a hell of a breakfast.

Sat morning bloody mary, if anyone here wants to know the best mix yo can buy out there it is Zing Zang!!! By far this is the best. Im a bartender and I know people who when they come here to Texas and drink it they go home and cant find it and have orded it off the internet it is that good.
So if you local Wal-Mart or store has it its definitly worth a try if you like bloody mary.

Other then that not a big drinker on sat b/c I have to bartend that night but before every ND game I take a shot of jamison. Kinda a tradition my family has started after going to our first game at ND.

I typically wake up on Saturday/Sunday mornings and head straight for the Ibuprofen so I can get my head straight before making my daily wagers. Once I clear the cobwebs, it's back to the bar with my buddies and watch NFL Sunday Ticket. Typically, I get more wrapped up in my damn fantasy players than I do with my actual games that I bet on. Either way, it calls for a long day of drinking and when things go well for the day, the night even gets longer and Monday morning becomes that much tougher!! All in all, it's a great life in my mind!!

What about Mr. and Mrs. T's? I look forward to flying on jetblue because I know I get to control what i see on the screen in front of me, and I can drink unlimited amounts of that bloody mary mix. I usually put down at least 4 of them when I'm flying to the west coast.

Coffee jumpstarts my day. Have to have something help me out when the kids wake me up at 6:30 every morning. Don't get much sleep if stay up late watching a west coast college football game. Good thing is I can watch line moves for 5 1/2 hours prior to NFL kickoff and 4 1/2 prior to College Football. I bet underdogs the majority of the time, so always like to get an extra point or two in the morning for college football.

I am gonna have to look for that. I haven't had a good bloody mary in years. What kind of vodka do you guys mix it with? I prefer Skyy or Ketel One for bloody marys.
