you had 2 full years with Obama as president and the senate and house. Blaming ONLY the R's for passing the law is fine I guess but giving the D's a pass since then for not ridding it, isn't fair.

Youd think that but here in Australia we are not exposed to the US like how we used to be and are more efficiently equipped to handle US volatility than ever before.

Now, if China were to begin to slow then yes id agree, we would all be screwed, as that where the majority of our exposure to risk lies...

Someome mentioned that the R's made that anti gaming law in 2006. I simply agreed, voice my displeasure and stated a fact that the D's have had several years with full control of congress including 2 years with a D president to do so. Omabe repealed the stem cell research ban didn't he? I thought that was a good thing did.

Make it a D vs an R thing all you want. I call it like it is. No partisan cheer-leading here
That was an executive order. Not a bill passed by Congress. Pretty MAJOR difference.

So the Republicans are responsible for the entitlement deficit as well? I couldn't agree more. Both parties are shit.

At least Barney Frank and several Democrats made an attempt at revoking the UIGEA.

The vast majority of people who support Obama are those who do NOT live in the U.S but you never mention that they can't vote.

You tell Dwight to "get off Obamas dick" when your head is so far shoved up Obama's rear end, you haven't come up for air since he took office.

Dwight, since you believe in capitalism and Mayan's a socialist, doesn't it make sense for you to move to the U.S. and Mayan to re-locate to Canada? Rinse and repeat this transfer about 10 milllion times and the U.S. would be well on its way to a full economic recovery.

Keep up the good work Dwight.
America got a cool President, thats about it.
Hopefully he'll be out of work come next year. YOU CAN HAVE HIM!!!

Sir, you know the D's are unable to get anything done with the no no R's. C'mon you know that. It was tried and got no traction at all. Difficult to rescind laws.
Not surprisingly, our country did NOT start its recovery until after the republicans took back control of the house in early 2011.

The first 2 years of the Obama administration which featured democratic control of all 3 branches of government were the WORST 2 YEARS in our country's history.

After Obama and the democrats pushed through ObamaCare without a single republican vote of support and against the will of the American people (while making sure to exclude themselves and the labor unions from having to participate in it), how could any liberal democrat possibly expect the republicans to work well with Obama and the democrats.

The republicans were given back power for the sole purpose of containing all the damage that Obama and the democrats caused in their 2 year HORRID run and thats exactly what they are doing.

    Its for this reason why:

Correct NY, almost all economic trends are positive. Newest unemployment figure issued either yesterday or today is down again. R's have absolutely no negative case concerning foreign affairs, if economic trends continue this election will be a blow out. Absolutely no doubt about that. Most people like Obama as a person if trends continue he will win big.

I would wager my last dollar that many if not most R's are cheering for a reversal in the trends so Obama would lose. These guys would rather see the country in the shit house just to eliminate Obama. It was even verbalized by the craziest of the crazies. One local crazy recently said that some people should not even be allowed to vote. He better hope and pray that never happens with IQ being the determining factor because his beloved R's would never win another election.

And you would only get $.10 on that last dollar.

I'm voting SU Dem for house and senate. I won't waste my vote on electing children.
Holding America hostage for their own personal gain or their 'bama hatred, is pure BS!

its called a business cycle. funny that as soon as the spend happy dems were voted out in Nov 2010 and replaced by a lot of tea party R's and fiscally responsible R's, the economy started to get better. Slowly mind you. I can only speculate but I think its very likely that if the people also voted out guys like Reid and elected a R senate as well in Nov 2010, the recovery would be even better. Let's hope the economy keep improving but there are those that predict unemployment will go back up to around 10% by year's end.
