    Pats Have No Chance

All the savants agree. Colin Cowherd think Giants should be favored. Sports Illustrated says Giants by 10

Listen to the experts who sort of have a clue or 2 about picking games
    5 of 5 at cbs http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/feature...s/expert/picks
6 of 8 at espn http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks including Ron Jaworski, the sharpest football mind of all time

64% of bets on NYG +3 and more than that on NYG ML is for a good reason

jjgold, biggest big game bettor there ever was, all over NYG for 5k

Tom Brady is the bitch of Eli Manning. Hoody washed up

    Giants roll

Talent wise is a mismatch but Pats do have that hurry up offense in their pocket could maybe give the giants trouble and Pats have a good red zone D sometimes.

ya the hoodie is really washed up man

i mean thats what everyone was saying after the joke that was "spygate"....since then hes just reeled off an undefeated regular season....an 11 win team without tom brady....a couple of a number 1 afc seeds.....ho hum....nothing to see here

the giants d and pass rush could still pose some problems for the patriots...but like many analysts have pointed out...this pats passing attack relies less on getting down field vertically than the one in 07 did.....it really sucks that gronk wont be 100 percent....you might say its sour grapes from a lifelong pats fan...but brady wasnt 100 percent going into the last superbowl either...guy was in a boot....he said he was fine...but you could clearly tell he wasnt...had surgery after the game.....well see though

Jaworski and Corbin gave the word Giants all in

I'm pretty sure it's an ill omen to have all the "analysts" choose one team. Who did everyone choose in the 2008 super bowl?

  11. #11

Can someone please tell how is this a complete mismatch other than Dline in which area are the Giants way better than the Pats.

My thoughts exactly, not many were giving the Giants a chance in 2007, 12 pt. dogs. How did that work out? I say fade the public. The hardest thing to do is win when you are expected to. We shall see if the Giants can handle this role. Even though the Patriots are favored you get the feeling most think the Giants will win.

Giants players know what people are saying and people are saying they will win. This gets into players heads. This will cause them to get overconfident and lazy. I doubt it gets too high but I hope this gets to 70% on the Giants because then i will pound the Pats.

With Brady and Bellichick you always have a chance.

megasavant Mike Golic now backing Big Blue as well

King Savants Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless call for Gmen big

Stephen is so confident he says 10 point victory wouldnt be that big a deal
Skip says its impossible Pats are favored and Giants should be -5. He thinks NYG blows em out more likely than Pats win

3 superbowls? Written off? Either team can win which makes it great.

  21. #21

It will probably come down to the last possession. Whichever team scores last will most likely win. Lately that has been the Giants. If NE scores with anything more than 1 minute left that would be a real hindrance to their Superbowl dreams.

Nicks/Cruz/Manningham/Ballard vs Pats secondary minus Andre Carter rushing (10 sacks)

    versus

Gronk (80%)/Welker/Hernandez vs Giants secondary with Osi, Tuck, and everyone healthy rushing the passer

Eli will have more time to throw to faster & more athletic receivers with deep speed. If the Pats can limit the big plays then they could pull it off w/good redzone defense but Flacco lit them up and Eli should too. Hopefully the Giants will give up on Jacobs on 3rd/1 but they haven't figured it out yet?

Paco has the right side. If this was a week 14 game Giants +3 have great value, in a Superbowl game I'll side with Vegas.

I heard Mortensen say the other day that the Pats will be "lucky to be within 10" if they get the ball back late.

    WTF?
