What did you state here? That Iran may have nuclear weapons and US would never attack them because they are so tough? There is no reason to attack Iran. They are not a threat to us in any way.

America struggled badly in afghanistan and iraq, what will happen to them if they went to war with Iran? A country 5 times more powerful than those two combined including russia and china helping out? That would be the final nail in the coffin for the states.

If we went to war with Iran ground troops would play a far less role than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We would bomb all their nuke sites and anything else that we would deem a threat. The iraq war was won in about 3 weeks after we dismantled their military and took their capital. We have the most powerful and technology sound military in the world. The US conducted a war games scenario utilizing the likely tactics Iran would implement. Speed boats with RPG launchers swarming individual ships. The war games went so badly they had to shut it down. Throw in the fact that Iran has silk worm missiles launchers all over the coast and stealth submarines undetectable to US radar, our Navy would be a Turkey shoot for them.

No way to guarantee that their nuclear sites are destroyed other than a land invasion and no one is going to support another 2 trillion dollar war and 1000's of dead.

Like it or not you're going to have to deal with a Nuclear Iran because there is nothing the USA or Israel can do to stop them.
