Default Donald Trump to endorse newt gingrich tommorrow

Donald Trump will announce he is endorsing Newt Gingrich for president, sources tell 8 News NOW.

The New York Times confirms the endorsement.

Trump adviser Michael Cohen had said that the real estate mogul and Celebrity Apprentice host would make "a major announcement" on Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal. "The announcement will pertain to the presidential race," Cohen reportedly wrote in an email.

Trump on Tuesday hinted at the annoucement, telling ABC's George Stephanopoulos that "in a very short time I'll be making an endorsement."

The reality star considered running for the Republican nomination, but decided against it last May. He recently told ABC that he wouldn't consider a third-party run.

Trump was a vocal member of the birther movement--the effort to prove that Obama wasn't really born in the United States. Several times, he demanded that the president release a copy his birth certificate. After the document was released, Trump maintained that he wasn't sure if it was authentic.

Gingrich enters the Nevada primary after a big loss in Florida.

Trump always said if he didn't like the Republican nominee, he might run as an independent. Makes you wonder what will happen if Romney gets the nomination now.

Remember when he tried to host a Presidential debate and everyone said they wouldn't go?

This guy is a joke, no one cares who he endorses.

Not surprising. Trump is a businessman. He obviously recognizes that Newt is the only candidate remotely qualified to run the largest corporation in the world.

Obama has proven beyond any doubt he doesn't have what it takes to run an organization of this size.

Trump needs to realize there is more risk of marginalizing the guy than actually helping him with this endorsement. Typical attention whore

Trump is endorsing Mitt Romney: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ndorse-romney/

"A recent Pew Research survey showed that just 8% of Americans said they'd be more likely to vote for a Donald Trump-backed presidential candidate while 26% said less they'd be less likely to do so."

romney ran like 15,000 ads in florida against newt, newt ran like 30

romney will have virtually unlimited wall st/corporate money, and that is the only thing that matters

So, what Pew is saying is Trump is to political endorsements, what Lang is to sports wagering endorsements.

give me Dr. Paul, not that it matters. these guys aren't the CEO of anything. just figureheads to shake hands, take photos, kiss babies, talk in megaphones, throw up soup, get oval office hand jobs, take vaca's to hawaii.

the only real president in most of our lifetimes was Ronald Reagan. That guy got shit DONE, still looked sharp, shook off bullets, and looked presidental at all times.

    before that it was Kennedy

Carter is one of the weakest Presidents in recent memory. Seems like a good man, but not Presidential material. I saw an interview with someone(can not remember his name) who worked in the Carter White House. He said Carter was not a very smart individual. Just like the US has Bush to blame for Obama, blame the Nixon years for Carter.

Archie.....you clearly don't know what you're talking about. They are absolutely the CEO of this country. While it takes many parts to make it run, it all comes down to them as far as public perception. No different than how it is with the CEO of BP. He wasn't the one drilling the well, but it was his ass that got fired for it.

Figurehead or not, it's the most important position in the world.
