I agree John. 'bama has to go for the betterment of the country. Repub's will not
work with 'bama. Both parties would probably work with Romney. My vote will go
to neither. I'm voting straight up Dem for the house and senate seats. I WILL NOT
    vote in children. (Repubs)

If Romney wins, it'll br very close. He'll take back in,nc, and va. He still has to win oh and fl then flip co or nv. Then he'd still only be up by a few electoral votes.

nah.... if romney takes oh and fl and 1 of nv and co then he'll have 275 electoral votes. which means look for political props for exact electoral count

GOP wins 270-289 +400 is nice value. Dems could either win huge or close so no value on the other side. GOP will only win close.

you are so wrong here. The Rebub's have submitted over 30 job bills and Reid won't even look at them. The only one not working with the other party is Obama not working with the Repub's, always blaming the other guys like the child he is.

I dont see how any of these guys beat obama, the republican message doesn't resonate w indep. thinking people...
only people that dont like obama because of his race or who only vote on social/religious issues...
the one liners like "Job Creators" -create where??? china and india...

"food stamp president" -during the 2nd G. Depression in american history??? -brought on by 2 wars for corp. interests and rampant wallstreet fraud? Im guessing, FDR was the Soup and Bread Line president???...

"lower taxes across the board" even though taxes 4 the last 10 yrs have been the lowest they have been in decades???...

"unlike Obama, we actually think work is good"??? -even though it’s becoming harder and harder to gain wealth through hard work. In the past 10 years, wages for jobs involving hard work have been stagnant, while shuffling money and securities around has become incredibly profitable. Rather than working hard, a much more effective way to become wealthy these days is by defrauding people out of their homes and retirement funds they gained through years of "hard work"

these one-liners dont work anymore, people are smarter... the only way the republicans win is if they nomiate someone different like Ron Paul, or the religous voting and racists republicans all come out and vote in mass numbers and alot of indep. stay home because they see no diff. in the 2 parties, and come to the conclusion nothing will ever change, until the whole thing comes crashing down one day.

Newt G. trying to paint himself as a "washington outsider, against the establishment", is a joke, that will only work on the same people that sara palin can con like she does.

correct me if I am wrong. The bills go the senate leader, which is Reid, and he decides whether to take it to a vote or not? I am pretty sure that is how it works. So blaming the Rep's for not bringing a plan to create jobs is a lie and a political game played by Reid and Obama.

Romney is not some right wing nut(at least not perceived to be) and if the Democrats have any sense they will try and work with him if he becomes the President.
So we shouldn't elect Obama because a bunch of racists, political reactionaries and a lot of not so bright sheep being led by Fox News and Limbaugh hate him? That's sad. Even still, it's not half the country, if it was he would have no chance.

It is a long ways until this election. I can see this one being a close election but I can see how angry people are right now at the tea party folks and that will do the GOP in. I just seen that you guys posted a 57 to win 100 in Intrade and that is where I look at it. I think it is Obama's race to lose here. If something doesn't dramatically happen Obama should win but like I said it is a very long ways until election day and by the way the economy is starting to get better.

Long way to Nov 2012 ...

I heard an interesting analyst by a dem pollster over the weekend :: She said % wise if 3.7% (using 2008 numbers when lackluster McCain ran against Obama) of the electorate shift from President Obama to whomever the Repub candidate is then Obama may well lose. She added, it will be very hard for Obama not to lose some % but how much is still up in the air.

Will 4 outta 100 dem voters from '08 switch their vote this year ?

i am calling bs. i don't see obama losing to rommney. i have never voted or supproted a dem in my life yet, 3 years since i have voted.

and i will be voting for obama this year, i can't support newt at all. and rommney scares me that he would even be further right then anybody so he can get a 2nd term.

the economy is improving we are adding jobs now, even though the unemployment rate is not that accurate, the economy is improving. we will see what it is in nov.

ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS will do all they can for Obama. They may tip the scales in his fav

It'll all come down to gas prices on election day.

If they're high, Obama is out. If they're low, Obama stays.

Yep, Republicans have done what they can to slow down jobs recovery, now they just need to consult with Netanyahu to time strikes on Iran so gas prices and the recovery can be altered just right for Romney's and their own(really their greedy overlords) purposes. Now that's a conspiracy you can believe in.
