I just wanted to recount my experience with Royal Sports over the last few months. I have played at Royal Sports for over a year now, and granted, in the beginning, they had some trouble with slow paying. I have watched the whole online gambling industry endure some blows over the past couple of months. The BetonStars closure affected many players and the sportsbook that stepped up to provide some relief to those players, was Royal Sports. Fortunately, I was not affected by the BetonStars situation..... BUT I had the SHIT kicked out of me by NoJuice and Bet4Aces. Just as I was reeling from that, the BOS fiasco hit the fan!!!

Chester and Royal showed up BIG and provided relief for my entire Bet4Aces balance and after a speedy payout, they are now stepping up to relieve my NoJuice disaster!!!

Where are all the other books when this industry needs some stability???

Even after Royal shows up, time and time again, they still don't get the credit they are due.

Thanks to Chester and Royal Sports for providing much needed help to SOOOO many players. You really are a classy joint!!

I just got a surprise from Bet Royal too. I played them for a little while about 8 months ago but quit because the payouts were so slow. Well, I got suckered back into them with a fat bonus they were offering and made a withdrawal last week. ( I know what you're thinking: slow payout once, shame on the book. slow payout twice, shame on the bettor for going back) They told me it would hit my Neteller in 24hr and I thought "ya right! It will probably take two weeks". I looked in my Neteller the next morning and there it was!

Maybe they are turning a corner.

I too must give Royal credit,,,.I stopped playing there about two months ago after two years of ridiculous slow pays...I got burned by no juice and Bet Royal came to the plate...kudos....but where is the rest of the industry?

Me too. If Royal pull their finger out of their ass and actually translate their big userbase into a top quality book then that would be very good for the industry.

I have noticed some changes in recent times. They're not throwing around bonuses quite as insanely as in the past. That can certainly be seen as good; it's good management. But I did enjoy an insane bonus every once in awhile.

They have to improve their website though. Too many stalls and errors. It's the worst.

The Good news: Chester is quickly taking care of complaints coming in to SBR. The bad news: There are still complaints coming.

Chester has big plans and a good start going. He recognizes the problems and cause of those problems which is half the battle. But, Chester doesn't own Royal. He still has to sell the idea of doing business the right way. A few months earlier, BlueGrass Doug arrived at Royal as the man to turn things around. His stay lasted a few months.

Chester has been talking with us about some new policies which would be great for its players. There has already been some improvement overall. Players like Isetcap would make a good arguement against that.

Royal is going to work out deals with its advertisers. Fortunately, they came to the conclusion that it makes business sense to do this. For most books it won't be cost effective to give to other book's players when they can give to their own. It is nice to see at least some victims are getting coin back.

The important question is, would these complaints have been resolved internally at Royal if Chester hadn't been informed about them via SBR. If not, then he's doing less of a job of account management and more of the job of a PR representative.

Here is some positive feedback from someone I know to be an actual player....

I have had an account at betroyal for quite a while, I have been winning and my balance has been high there for a long time which is why I have been requesting payouts for more than half a year. It has been a struggle to get even 1 payout to Neteller of 2500 in the past. But since Chester took over things have been running smoothly. When he heard I was missing payouts he personally called me to arrange a payment plan, this was 3-4 weeks ago, and so far they have honored the plan without any problems, in fact they are even a little bit ahead of schedule right now.

I am so relieved that I can now get money out according to a plan and not have to call, email and livechat every day to fight for it, and wanted to share the good news, if you want updates or more details on the situation please let me know.

I would concur wholeheartedly with the individual who sent you this letter, Bill. When Chester came on board, everything was taken care of ahead of schedule. Now it remains to be seen if this is just the "honeymoon" period that a new manager often receives.

Dearie me. I've mentioned before - if you want to continue your script (which is as painful as raiders' efforts despite being on the other end of the scale) then make sure your methods are spot on.

For instance, I'm looking at theRX forum and I don't see a single banner ad for Pinnacle. By your methods, Pinnacle is even worse than BoS, right? Good work, Columbo!

tacomax, your stupidity is showing. Here are the facts: Pinnacle refused to re-up with The RX when they put up BOS as a "Platinum advertiser".

Fact 2. The RX took BetRoyal's ad banner down and refused their advertising. EOG/SHRINK posted that he turned down BetRoyal's ad money.
