well experiment not going great,in reality quite bad, have to look at why lines move sometimes(I did not yesterday). SA line moved because Parker and Duncan out and Calgary did not have a chance, streak at 14 for the bad, plays overall 3-19 -2385.03. Like EVERYONE else in this thread I'll say stop betting parlays!!! Pick a few games a day on the board and bet them. Parlays are much to volatile and bad "investments". Like investing in stocks, learn from your mistakes. If you don't correct them you'll be broke before you know it.

In reality though, since this experiment is to see if sports betting can be compared to finance investments, you REALLY need a plan. Blindly throwing money away on high cost square bet parlays is gonna make you broke, quick...but we can already see that through this post.

The only real way, I feel, to compare handicapping with wall street is through discipline. You would need a strategy/system, from what you bet, why you bet, how much you bet, and than if your system is good enough it can gain positive interest over the long term. Otherwise your blindly gambling...and if you keep doing parlays you'll be broke in no time. Whether you win or lose, you cant compare blind gambling to investing.
