Agree that the PAC 12 conference is weaker than some of the other conferences.. But they beat Oregon on the road who beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. They played Stanford tough who lost to Oklahoma St. because of missed field goals. Beat ND on the road. Not saying they are as good as the top SEC teams, but then again who is.

Who said that anybody is a better coach than Saban? Just because a team isn't as good as the reigning champs doesn't prove that the team is overrated.

Here we go again. Some of you are absolute retards. No honest Trojan fan believes the team is as good as it was 2003-2005/6, but the 2012 team is legit Top 5.

QB = best in the nation
RB = returning top RB who averaged 6.9 ypc
WR = top duo of WR's in the country (Woods & Lee...will be Junior & Sophmore)
TE = return top two TE's...both will be Sophomores (one a 5 star and one a 4 star recruit)
Oline = four starters return

On defense the "back 7" all return. Special teams = All American candidates at kicker & punter both return.

USC slotted at #2 in preseason poll by Athlon.

USC has commits from two of the top 7 rated offensive linemen in the nation and are in the mix for the #3 and #7 o-linemen as signing day looms.

I'm am nd fan.. and usc isn't overrated.. top 15 recruiting class this year.. strong program, probably will finish top 5 next year... should win the pac 12 south.. would be surprised if they don't play in a bcs bowl game barring injuries

They had trouble moving the ball that game. As well as the minnesota game. Both those teams had losing records.

They are not elite.

They are hyped up year to year the last half decade and have not proven to be elite.

My thoughts are that you do not know what you are talking about. USC defeated Oregon in Eugene. The last time I checked, Oregon defeated Wisconsin, the Big 10 Champ, in the Rose Bowl USC also went 10-2 during the season and finished the season at #5. I do not know which team you are a fan of, but if they are playing USC this coming season, they probably are going to get their tails kicked. Dumb post.

USC can still attract the best recruits cuz it's LA, the girls are all smoke shows, and it's a crazy rich school where the parties are insane. Trojan pride in LA is everywhere with rich alums who give back a lot to the school.
